Bryan's a little unhinged because human-Torikan hybrids tend not to be the sanest. Bryan's actually mellow for one.  The majority of them are... psychotic, to say the least.

Alright. I feel like doing some world building about the differences between Iris1's world and Iris2's world.

In World 1 cat people are rather rare. In World 2, they're common. So are dog people, mouse people, chipmunk people, snake people, platypus people, hedgehog people, armadillo people, etc, etc. They all have around the same abilities as Iris but with whatever kind of animal person they are.

In World 1, magic is very commonplace and pretty much everyone can use it. In World 2, hardly anyone has magic.

In World 1, Iris was made through an accident by a wizard trying to resurrect his dead sister. In World 2, she was made by a wizard who felt like mixing the genes of his little sister and the genes of the family cat.

THEORY!

The events of the first L&F are not from a science experiment, but from some of the members of L&F2 organizing a game. Bryan ended it when it got out of control. Allie was a somewhat late joiner who assisted in ruining the game.

There were the people who played as themselves (Angerus, Ke, Barth, Richard, Nathan, Iris), people who played as something similar to themselves but different (Allie), and people who played as something completely different (Bryan as whoever he was, Adrian somehow being convinced to play and playing as Saxton). And also the people who didn't play.
