Not saying you shouldn't do it. The character is yours, so if you want to make Richard go evil and try to kill other people, well we can't stop you from doing so, although then he would also be attacked.

I don't think the strongest characters would grant him enough time to look upon what he has done and go "NOOOOOO" and then try to atone for his sins.
