The homestruck references aren't all that bad, actually... I do agree with Vort that they should be less frequent, but..

This, my problem is the amount of references.

Two RTS series/One series of novels
A crapsack world tabletop RPG
An FPS series revolving around hats
And a really famous Sci-fi series

This is going to get ugly.
