Standing in the comm room is a soldier. Not the kind previously faced; he's much more horrifying. He faces away from Ellie, out the window to the flooded clearing, mysteriously devoid of ducks. Maybe those ducks were the drugs. Aside from that irrelevant thought, this horrifying shell of a soldier is shaking and twitching. The man's torn military jacket is covered in bullet holes and scratches, both oozing pus and caked with dried, oxidized blood. Below, where his ragged pants fail to cover his skin, a thick steel frame comes up to cover exposed, sun-bleached bone and putrefying muscles. Wires extend around the metal legs, allowing him to stand. His jittery hands, holding a knife coated in blood, ichor, and various other substances, is augmented with sharp steel claws to replace missing fingers. Charred up to the wrists, with wires into the skin, they jerk around as if shanking a mob of opponents. Several spikes and spines fashioned from his own bone extend outwards from his shoulders, ripping up the fabric. He looks up at the ceiling, and then turns to Ellie, his nonexistant eyes barely covered by his long, black hair. With a mouth stitched into and eternal smile he tries to express the agony all these modification cause to him but fails. He speaks with a raspy, low-pitched voice.

"You're on my property."

"What? Who the fuck are you, and why do you think that the ship we shot down ourselves is suddenly yours?"

"Because I am King Thomas, and you shot down one of my ships."

Angerus grunts as he pulls the chains off the box, each time he does so a little burst of magic flies off from it. As he pulls the last chain off  the box bursts open and a rather large humaniod flies out. It is tall dark and black with bat like wings under its arms. Its hands and feet a clawed in a way that looks suited to grasping. It has no face expect for slight bumps where a nose should be and dips where they eyes and mouth are. Its head is horned and its skin likes shiny and rubbery. It lands on the floor and extends a han in thanks to the party. WELL 'LL BE DAMED I AVEN'T SEEN ONE OF THESE IN AGES. I THOUGHT THE HAD ALL FLOWN OFF INTO THE DREAMLANDS. IT SEEMS TO THANKFUL FOR OUR ASSITANCE Said the Void Lord.

[OREOSOME]

Um.... What IS that thing?

Iris stomps through the airship, grumbling. She goes through the hatch onto the top, and then walks right up to Gerald and hits him on the head with a rubber duck.

"I feel I must echo Lucas' question."

IT IS A NIGHT GAUNT The Void Lord says says before the Night Gaunt lets out a umble of sounds OF THE LAST ORDER OF MYST-THIS IS TERRIBLY CLUMSLY, LEY ME DO SOMETHING The Void Lord lets out a cloud of darknees that encircles the party and flows up their noses. The night Gaunt suddenly speaks in English It has been such a long time since I spoke to humans that could understand me. What do you wish from an Old Ibriain?

[Taricus]

Gerald responds to the ducking by telekinetically throwing Iris back into the water.

The cutebolds cluster around Barth, gibbering happily.

"Telling us how this place came to be would be nice."

"For one, what was this place before... whatever happened to it happened?"

Iris grabs hold of the umbrella as she goes, pulling it down with her.

"...Oh well. I'm just glad it isn't raining, despite the fact that I'm saying this means that someone will inevitably make it rain JUST to piss me off.

Suddenly, it begins raining rubber ducks above Gerald, and only above Gerald. Iris laughs at this.

[Taricus]

"Yep, knew it. I know it was you that summoned them Iris!"

Gerald then ducks inside the airship, locking the hatch.

Iris grumbles and shifts so that the umbrella is right side up and she is holding it by the handle. This inexplicably causes her to slow down immensely.

Meanwhile, in the ship, there are rubber ducks falling from the ceiling above Gerald.
