Ellie returns from the bathroom and falls back into bed.

The young medic takes Ellie's pulse and rubs a wet cloth against her forehead cautiously to take away any sweat from her brow.

"It is my job and duty." Bartholomew answers in a paternal tone. "I'm sorry for taking so long...I went after Iris when she ran away during the combat."

Brecan follows, muttering rather derogatory things about Kobolds under his breath.

Ellie looks out the small window across the room into the hallway and through its window. The rain has only died down slightly. Thunder echoes through the aluminum and steel halls.

She wakes up, and, shivering again, she would likely begin to freak out. Where the hell is she? Why is she moving?

((Angerus is currently carrying Ke in a dark tunnel in a weirdass tower while topside is filled with Vanbolds, I don't think shes going anywhere.

"I also didn't have any friends, although I think it was more my fault." he says, apparently satisfied Ellie is feeling better. I mean, I had some when I was younger, but then I trained to become a competent medic after witnessing what the plague, sickness and bandits did to people."

He follows the woman's gaze, staring outside as well.
"And I also think this place is better than the place I lived before, but I was needed there...I still need to return. Staying here would be selfish."

Another clash of thunder rings through both the airship and the mutant magicy place.

Iris ties her hair up with her sash as she walks, and stops at a window to look out.

From down the ship's hall the sound of tortured breathing and squelching adds to the stormy conditions.

A man steps in front of the windows. His skin loosely hangs from his body where a gray outfit doesn't cover it, exposing muscle. His face is completely blank aside from a plus sign cut into his face. His arms are belted to his sides, where the fidget and bend in ways not normally possible. His forehead holds many blunt impact wounds. Without any visible mouth, he lets out a shriek. He smashes his face against the bulletproof glass.
"AAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEGHHHHH!" THUD THUD THUD THUD THUD
