Iris arrives at the sockpile, and looks around for her bindle. She sees it under some socks and picks it up.

"So. At least we don't really have to worry that much about any monsters or such."

"Eh, I'd prefer monsters to them. They worry me, to be quite honest."

Iris walks back to the others, bindle slung over her shoulder.

"Point, but think about how weird the weather is around here. Now imagine how messed up the local fauna must be."

~They're are just brutes, relying more on pure force than any sort of thinking. Still, They have their uses. And we can likely distract anything that shows hostile intention to us with them.

And the fauna? I've seen worse. Probably.~

"There was a needle storm in a nearby desert. You got anything like that where you come from?"

"Well, maybe the wildlife will be in the same situation as us. Taken from our homes, with no certain chance of escape. That is, if we were just regular people, with no skills to use. But we aren't powerless. Infact, I think we're the ones with the power here, and we can find our way home. That is, if we work together. You know what I mean?
