"Centuries... Oh my. This doesn't bode well..."

He fell silent, almost lost completely in thought. He perked up with a rather puzzled look on his face.

"How do you store such detailed paintings within such a small box? Are there demons inside that move around your paintings?"

"I am fine. I just had to get away from the rest for some time, I do not have pleasant memories about magic and summoners." he answers with a smile, finally assembling the tent, which sports a red cross at its side.

He stares at it for a while, as if judging his own handiwork. "I think I have one more of those tents, but they are heavy."

"Oh, I would appreciate it, thank you very much." he answered before pointing at a pile of stakes nearby. "Can you hold those together and pass them to me? They keep trying to roll downhill and I have to keep walking back and forth. With you in the middle, no one would need to walk and I'd get things done quicker."

As he talked, he started to hammer one of the stakes on the ground with a hammer with its head hidden by a wet cloth, muffling the sound of the hammer's strikes.

Richard smirked, took a picture of Allan's stunned face, and walked over to Bart's tent.

He looked sheepish as he cleared his throat for attention.

...So the girl was a magical experiment. Barth had seen some of those before, and most were far away from being nice, or even sentient. Even then, he brushes it off naturally as she seems a kind soul, or at least nice enough. Actually fairly normal when compared to some people he had seen back home.

"Well, how are spellcasters in your world in general? In mine, they are usually power-hungry people in 'adventuring parties'. I became a medic to try and help my people. They are suffering from the effects caused by a prolonged conflict between the 'heroes' and our king."
