The hound growls, and breathes fire with all three heads at the trees.

It points one head at the tree It's in and five floating armors rush at him.

Meanwhile, the other group of armors is gaining on Allan's group.

Richard nods weakly.

"I'll live.."

"Hey, watch the moss man!"

It taunts the armor, and leads them to the edge of the desert.

"NYA NYA NYA! PHHHTBTBTBTBTBBT. CAN'T CATCH ME!"

"Indeed...I think I can stand back up now."

Richard lets go of Nathan's shoulder and stands up straight. He's in no condition to summon Personas, but he could probably beat some of the armors up with his bat if he needed to.

"You're a good man, mate."

Meanwhile....

The floating armors simply float upwards into the trees to chase him.

Bartholomew has already slipped down from the trees for some time, trying to catch his breath as he sprints to Richard's side.

"In these moments, having the tumbling ability of a rogue would do me much good." he says, running alongside the group, sweating and gritting his teeth, some of the objects on his bag clanging before he straps them better.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

"Follow the leader!"

It leads them out into the desert his plates protecting him from the needles.

"Lets see how you handle the sun."

The floating armors move on, unimpeded.

Meanwhile...

The floating shadow armors fly over the log Saxton put in place and continue pursuit.

"Oh. Dammit."

It charges the armors, slashing at the spots the armor doesn't cover.

Two armors fall to It's attacks, but they bring down their swords on It's chitinious back in response.

"Thicker than you thought eh? Now I got ya close, have a sword."

It hacks at the armor, the attacks falling upon the weaker joints, and the thinner helmets.

It's attacks kill another three, and the rest flee.

Meanwhile...

The other group gains on Allan's group. They're getting close, and the hound is following them.

Saxton hands off the staff, then starts ripping branches from the trees around them.
"You head on ahead! I'll handle these."
He tenses, and throws one of the branches at the armors, grabbing another as soon as the first leaves his hand.

Richard stood up and took his bat out.

"I'm not retreating that easily. I'll try my best."

"Maybe you aren't as bad as I thought."
As the armors close in, Saxton drops his improvised javelins and rips a tree from the earth, and swings it around like a normal man would a greatsword.
"I CUT MY WAY OUT OF PRIMATE HELL, AND NOONE'S MAGIC WARDROBE WILL TAKE ME DOWN!"

Allan called back to Richard, who he noticed was following at a jog.

"Should I keep running, or do you need help back there?"
