"However, I might be able to aid you."

Richard pointed the Evoker at his head.

Nathan sighed and shoved the watch back in his pocket.
"I am the great magician Nathanial Edwards, young lady. I am anything but shady."

"That didn't have the effect I intended."

Richard looked disappointed.

"Anyway, Titania!"

He pulled the trigger.

Nothing happened.

"What was that supposed to do?" Said Iris, directing the question at Richard.

And at Nathan:

"You look shady."

Brecan turned to Nathan, an excited gleam in his eyes.

"Another student of the arcane arts? We really must compare notes sometime!"

"Summon the Fairy Queen...hmm...Gabriel!"

He pulled the trigger again. Nothing happened.

He tried Vishnu. Succubus. Byakko.

Nothing.

He tried one last one in his desperation.
"P-pendragon!"

He pulled the trigger. This time, a blue mist formed above his head.
A blonde teenage girl in battle armor, wielding a large gold long sword formed from the mist.

Richard dismissed her, then sighed.
"It seems my..ability is reduced here somehow. I can't heal anyone. Sorry for making a fuss."

"And you are aware that I may very well not be, correct?
Anyway, we've much more important things to worry about than my supposed shady nature. Perhaps the fact that this young man seems to be feeling rather suicidal about this situation."
Nathan says, to Iris. His face clearly showing his frustration.
He turns to Brecan and with a smirk says,
"Yes, we shall. I'm quite proud of my card tricks."

"...want a croissant anyone?"

Richard took out a pair of the pastries from his duffel bag.

He was wondering why his manifestations were limited to only Pendragon. He'd find out just how much he was limited to... But for now he was ok with at least one way of defending himself should anything attack.

"Card Tricks? What kind of simpleton do you take me for? I'm talking the big stuff here. Transmutation, Conjuration, Evocation, Necromancy, stuff like that. Well, maybe not the shadier parts of Necromancy. That stuff's always creeped me out."

Brecan turned to Richard.

"What's a 'Croissant'?"

Nathan blinks not entirely sure of what just happened.
In his daze he mumbles, "Yes, that'd be great..."

"Riiiight." Iris frowns.

"I don't think this outfit is very good for this place." She begins shortening her dress by tearing off part of it.

"A nice pastry. Goes well with butter.

To be quite honest, Richard didn't know what was going on either.

Somehow, his summoning powers had been limited severely.

He sorely wished he was in Japan now.

Apparently there were more people like him there. It would be useful if someone else knew how it was like.

"Hmm. I could go for a pastry. Really, I could go for anything. I'm famished."

He sat down, sighing slightly.

"Isn't anyone even remotely worried about where we are? I mean, doesn't this place just feel a little off for some reason?"
