The girl really liked to glare at him, he thought with a smile. Barth gave her a curt bow as if indicating he was taking his leave and took the Marine's hand, ready to be dragged off.

He didn't want to leave her alone, but maybe she needed some time by herself. He gave Iris one last glance and sighed...Maybe he could use some more social interaction to get used to that kind of thing.

The soldier doesn't respond untill Ellie starts scrounging through the cabinets for armor.

"They all just died. The ship shook and shook some more, and they died. I lived. Now I'm covered in blood and my friends are dead."

Ellie, in the meantime, continues searching, but finds nothing.

After being dropped into the airship in a hurry, Barth acts quickly, running inside the med bay and looking over the things on the cabinets quicky.
"Ok people, I'll need some working space."

First he forces Ke to drink a strong concoction of painkillers from his bag to knock her out temporarily so she won't feel it all.

The medic takes some gauze and disinfectant and cleans her wounds, covering the area around them in clean tissue and analyzing the wounds. The ones which the bullets are still lodged are the worst...

He puts gauzes with bloodmoss and some medicinal herbs over the wounds that are not deep, stuffing the deeper ones with bloodmoss and using pincers to extract the bullets in a painfully careful process. He takes a vial with her blood and agitates it, dipping a piece of parchment inside it and checking the color it turns.

After receiving the result, he hurriedly mixes her lost blood with a strange-colored liquid and applies it to her vein with a needle with the utmost care.

After a few minutes of tense work, carefully cleaning, bandaging, setting shoulder bones and using coagulant boosting-moss on Ke's wounds, Barth checks her.

Once the bullets are extracted, and the bandages applied, she seems to be in much better shape, although faint from blood-loss. She stares blankly ahead, but now... She seems to be more at peace, no longer wracked with pain now that she is properly sedated.
