Alan starts walking around the airship. He notices a hole nearby, which appears to be the entrance to a cave. "And here we have the lair of the gunslinging murderslasherax... thing... whatever."

Creativity aside, if he knows his brain then whatever attacked the airship would live inside that cave. Dream or not, being attacked doesn't sound pleasant, so he keeps on walking until he finds an entrance into the airship. He starts climbing inside.
