Richard lay his his duffel bag and shut his eyes.
The last thing he heard before sleeping was this:

(Sorry if I'm acting a bit selfish here, but I'm gone for the next eight hours or so.)

"I think I'll be going somewhere more sheltered. Like that sock cave over there."
Steve walks for the cave and sits down within it, slowly dozing off.

Brecan sat on a nearby rock, leaning on his quarterstaff. He cast a spell, causing a roof of solid fog to form overhead, to act as a barrier against the sock storm.

"I'll keep watch if anybody else wants to rest."

Nathan walks up to Operative Bellend.
"Hello there, good sir. I am Nathan Edwards. So, who're you? Oh, this may sound odd, but is that an actual gun or does makes gods and whatnot?"

Iris sits back down, leaning against a tree.

"Nah, I'm fine."

[OREOSOME]

"Well, I am Lucas Bellend, Specialist-Sargeant of the Terran alliance. You can just call me luke if you want, though. But also, my gun here doesn't summon gods, unless you consider of a intense pulse of heat a god. Last i remember was getting onboard a small ship, a red alert, signalling a Jump, when the Drive was damaged no less. I remember the world going white and then BOOM! Next thing i know, i'm on the ground with all of you guys."

Iris looks at the fog, before asking;

"How long can you keep that up?"

[Vorthon]

"A couple hours, if I remember correctly. Less, if a strong wind picks up. Although keeping it up for more than an hour will probably be a little hard on me."

"Okay. I'll go look for some edible plants"

Iris picks up a long stick and uses it as a walking stick. She then walks away.

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Intense burst of heat? Odd, but then again hardly the oddest thing I've seen today. Heh, you wouldn't happen to have another one with you? Feel a bit bare compared to the rest of you guys."

[OREOSOME]

"I'm sorry, but i don't. I may just have barely any ammo left, but they've trained me to use my err... Natural talents. For example, i can lift up objects with my mind, if i want them to be lifted. Let me show you."
He focuses on a small branch nearby on the ground, and floats it up and towards them.

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Impressive, to say the least. I'll talk with you some more later, right now I've got something I meant to do earlier."
Nathan walks over to Brecan.
"Excuse me, sir. I'd like to offer you the timepiece we were discussing before the... uh, sock storm, anyways this time I'm giving it to you free of charge. Since you're keeping the undoubtedly unsavory elements at bay."

[The Fool]

A cloaked figure appears from the bushes using a long metal staff to balance himself as he struggles with his own cloak, trying not to damage it while pulling it free from the bushes. He looked up in surprise,
"Hello there. I was starting to think there wasn't anyone out here still. It started raining socks, so I ran here."
He brushed the dust from his cloak with his free hand before looking back up at the group.
"Where are my manners? I'm Allan Rush."
 A small red figure whispered in his ear, but he dismissed what was said with a nod.

[Vorthon]

Brecan nodded at Nathan, accepting the watch.

"Thank you."

He turned to the newcomer, recoiling slightly at the sight of imp.

"Why is there a small diabolic entity following you around?"

[The Fool]

Allan was taken aback by the comment, rather puzzled by it. He looked to his shoulder.

"Oh, right. This guy was sealed by me. He tells me secrets now and again, but it's not often that I care to listen."

He bore an arm from his cloak, revealing a series of circular symbolic tattoos down his forearm.

"Fret not, for they're with me."
