Ideas for spare necromancers?

So I have about 3 necromancers in my fortress sealed away having a undead training room is eh not as fun as it sounds any ideas what to do?

Easy way to weaponize them.

Chain them outside, surrounded with fortifications, and bridges to cut/open the line of sight as needed.
When invaders come, let the necros rise all the corpses outside (leave as many as you wish). They will keep raising zombies until all
the gobbos are dead.
Then close line of sight and send your soldiers to get rid of the remaining zombies. Zombies are pushovers to armored soldiers, so you
should have not trouble with this.

I thought when you try to move prisoners they make attempts to run away? Well it happens to me

I thought when you try to move prisoners they make attempts to run away? Well it happens to me

Unless thing's changed recently, only thieves escapes. But don't take my word for it, I've not bothered to cage invaders since 31.18. The running away might be a reaction to another prisoners being released/dropped?
