Turn 10: A Sight to Behold
ThanitzWeird, these days nobody seems to care that much about the library anymore. Shrugging(or maybe not) you sit down and start Studying the General Death Magic. [2] But somehow it all seems so darn complicated that you give up soon enough and instead busy yourself with mixing up all the books...
Isinath,OdahviingIsinath first takes care of his Hoard of Skeletal Remains by closing them away in one of the smaller Storage Chambers and then casting wards on it. [3+1] You produce some modest wards, as you are not really expecting anyone now to steal them once they trip into those wards.
Then you continue onwards to Odahviing and together you start to cast rituals to restore the arm. First Odahviing does his best to regrow the bones [2-1] but while he regrows the arm it calcinates completely. [6+1] Isinath manages to repair the damage somehow although it stays calcinated Odahviing suddenly can manage to move it, although the moment he is finished both here an almost demonic screeching, coming from the arm...very weird. Having finished you examine the result: the arm is strangely white and it feels like you can rip out trees and such.
Isinath and Odahviing, have grown a Demonic Arm. Everytime Odahviing casts a spell it siphons Demonic Souls to power itself(D10 on Spellcasting). The Drawback is that he has to roll a D6 everytime to decide whehter he can control his arm or whether it tries to kill him.Anthony[4] You spot Isinath as he tries to hide away the skeletons and casts some wards around it. [5 vs. 4] Although you do not possess any Blood Magic Skills whatsoever you manage to negate the Wards with some effort. inside the Skeletons are piled all around. [4] Using your Staff you manage to raise 10 of the Skeletons. They don't seem particularly strong nor intelligent...your random run of the mill skeleton servant.
Anthony creates 10 Skeletal ServantsMax[4][2] Using the Scrying Chamber you try to find your old Village and find it. Even as you look at it from above you have a bad, a reaaally bad
gut feeling.
It looks mroe downtrodden than before, buildings seem abandoned and in disrepair. As you go to the smithy you find that the hearth is cold and the House itself abandoned. Taking a look at the village oak prove what you felt in your gut: the whole village is hanging from the tree. At a closer look you see two figures who are familiar, too familiar for your taste...you quickly leave the room wiht the Scrying chamber...
OchitaYou talk a while with Skalkr, he casually drops that the Diary of Helfd is still lying around and that some zombies are in the swamps and that in the nearby village of Hammstead is market day.
