Advising the dwarves while they build the fortress is very different from ordering them to produce a personal lavish tomb and bedroom. Whatever power you have, you are most certainly abusing.

"Lavish?" I suppose I was the one who asked for an adamantine sarcophagus, table, and throne? No, wait, I asked for a simple coffin and coffer made from a lovely red stone. And some metal bars.
And a coffin which you will inhabit if you keep up your hypocrisy.

Did any dwarf who isn't an admitted law-breaker complain? Did the overseer allow it?

..Weeelll I just didn't want to say anything because I didn't think it was a big deal.  But I do think that if one of us gets mandates, we all get mandates.

After all, aren't we all just sitting around watching as crazysheep does all the work of actually running the fort?  If that doesn't make us nobles, I don't know what does.   

That said, Clover humbly requests that precious gems be stockpiled in her bedroom.  And if she does not have a personal bedroom, that would be nice too for the aforementioned gem stockpile.

This means that every dwarf has a say in how Shotgangs is run, so long as all dwarves can agree that it's not suicidal to do so.

OOC: I have a tendency to get bored if I don't find something fun to do for my dwarves, so I really don't mind having these mandates coming my way, as long as it doesn't get in the way of me running the fort

Hmm...  what this fort could use is some surface section, but that's AFTER we get an obsidian production underway...  nothing like a fairly dark tower to fit with the terrifying surroundings!

As for dorfing, I'll take a dorf if possible.  (Chances are good I'll be a XXdwarf corpseXX by the end of dorfing #1, but eh...)

Lovely fort you have going on here, even the wilddead are nice! I might see about getting dorfed...I'd like to be a hunter, but that would be suicide at best (if a hunter 'kills' undead animals, will they bring back the remains?). Maybe a dwarf with some hunting skill, but turned off for now...yes, that would be an idea. Call him/her Kirby.

Also, there appears to be an issue with the images for updates on page...huh. I just checked and I guess they're normal now. Never mind then.

He is a criminal. Faking is a crime! He didn't even get punishment. Please, at least just lock him out in the snow for a week or something! Or just a tiny little training hammer beating?
