Name: Sal'sivira
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Class: Seeker. Seekers are the scavengers, scouts, and investigators of the Malkaven, using magical and mundane methods to find, see, and often affect things others cannot.
Race: Malkaven. Commonly, and often derisively and/or fearfully, simply called 'Crows.'
A Malkaven's head sports a large, mostly conical beak, serrated and featuring the occasional small but sharp tooth internally. Their eyes are the sizes of a normal creature's fists, and blank reflective white. They possess a shaggy mane of feathers as an equivalent to hair. A Malkaven's torso and arms are more or less humanoid, though sporting a thin coating of ragged black feathers. Their hands are oversized, rough-skinned, and end in sharp talons, more like the feet of a bird than a common humanoid's, though they do possess the normal number of digits. Great ragged-looking wings spread from their backs, allowing the greatest of them to fly and aiding lesser individuals' movements on the ground. They possess a tail, mostly visible as a large tuft of feathers not unlike a bird's tailfeathers, but possessing a flesh and blood core not unlike a lizard's. Their legs are digitigrade, appearing to possess more or less humanoid thighs and calves atop an extra section of leg and massive taloned feet.
Socially, Malkaven are very spiritual and mystically inclined, but usually towards bleak inclinations. They favor divination and necromancy, seeking the truth of the world in the most unsavory of places. They are well known for the gifts of prophecy and second sight, particularly in the areas of death and despair, and are often called upon to interpret omens, curses, or disasters, and valued as bounty hunters, undead seekers (and ideally slayers), and finders of lost things. On the other hand, they're often regarded as ill omens or ghoulish abominations themselves, impressions likely strengthened by their somewhat ragged appearance, blank, often unnerving stares, and tendency to build and craft things in a very ancient and ruined-looking style.

Perserverance (+10 hp)
Physical Description: Sal'sivira looks fairly normal for a Malkaven- a crow-woman with large, blank white eyes that reflect light, a long, serrated beak, great wings coming off her back, oversized, taloned hands, and even more oversized, larger-taloned feet. She wears a ragged-looking but well-made black tunic with a belt and thin leather strap running diagonally around it for hanging things from. She also carries a large, wide-brimmed hat and pair of tinted goggles, both for when it's too sunny out.
Biography: Sal'sivira was a bit of a minor celebrity in her home rook. Malkaven with strange destinies or peculiar inheritances are far from uncommon, but being born with the symbol of an ancient god on the back of her left hand was a bit more blunt and certain than they were used to. Of course, never being satisfied with the obvious, apparent answer, her birth set off a flurry of questions and investigations into the finer nuances of her condition. Why her? Why here? Why now? Why this god, this symbol, that location? As a major source of clues for these questions, Sal'sivira was subject to the closer attentions of more scholars, diviners, seers, and other specialists than most other Malkaven, and what exactly she was doing or going to do and why was always something somebody wanted to know.
When it came time for her to answer those questions, she didn't have much to go on. No grand destiny revealed itself, no true calling reached out to her. The only things she had were the very Malkaven understanding that if she hadn't figured out the answer yet, that just meant she'd have to go find it, and the somewhat more peculiar decision that those who had had the most effect on her were those that did their seeing in person, rather than those that saw her in their dreams or read her fate amongst ash and bone. While certainly respecting the mystic arts, Sal'sivira determined to see and touch the world with her own eyes and hands, and presumably shape it in the process.
Knowledge of the Bastion was well known amongst some Malkaven, and her destiny to go there presumed since birth, awaiting only her determination that she was ready. Once she had done so, she arrived with little incident, prepared for the next step of her journey.
Inventory:
Black Spear: This spear is a standard Malkaven weapon- ragged and ancient looking, but sturdy and well-kept nonetheless.
Silverscale Armor: This shiny silver armor appears to be composed of a series of pointy oval or rounded diamond scales or plates, and is indeed made from the hide of a Silverscale, a type of fish larger than a horse. Its scales are protective and very durable, which causes the Malkaven to overlook their preference for ragged black and use it fairly routinely.
Vae's Knucklebones: Made from the literal knuckles of the first two fingers of the right hand of a novice elven necromancer, these four strangely shaped "dice" have the power to tell the future and discern the secrets of the dead. The results are usually cryptic and of limited accuracy and power, owing to both Sal'sivira's lack of divination skill and Vae's lack of power, but can sometimes be useful nonetheless.
