IN CASE THE TITLE WASN'T ENOUGH OF A HINT, THIS THREAD MAY OR MAY NOT CONTAIN SPOILERS.
So I have this vampire that I want to be rid of. My current plan was to seal him in the lowest levels of my fort (the mine shafts below the magma sea, near the adamantine veins and the hellevator) with a pickaxe, and have him mine down to hell so that I can see all of its boundaries without compromising any of the Dwarves I still want alive.
But then I thought, this plan is too plain and boring and unexciting, and is not Dwarven enough by far. So I'm going to turn Hell (or rather, a mined-out area immediately adjacent to the hellevator) into a stage for my battle royale: wildlife vs. Goblins vs. Humans vs. the undead vs. uninvited guests vs. the demons vs. my one sacrificial vampire. Set up the cages, link them up to a lever outside the battlefield, seal it up, punch through to hell, pull the lever, and watch the fireworks. Should make a good movie.
Anyway, before I actually do it, I want to know who is going to ally with whom.
Are the goblins and humans, both trying to siege my fort, going to team up?
Are troglodytes friendly towards, say, giant cave spiders or olms? Dralthas? Crundles? Will the troglodytes who were living in my caverns permanently join up with the nomadic trogs?
Do demons ally with anyone? They do have this thing about taking over Goblinoid civilizations...
Will zombies from different areas (I.E. dingos from aboveground vs troglodytes) team up?
I'm going to have my battle regardless, I'd just like to know so that I can set the cages up in team formations.
