Alright, from the speculation in the comments. I think I over reacted and didn't actually tell you all what exactly Josh unintentionally did that will most likely murder one or more of you.

I owe you all a reasonable explanation.

Collapsing the tunnel wouldn't kill a single one of you, the blast of air would knock you back and block you from pursuit, nothing more. Now, collapsing the tunnel and breaking that tube of lighting chemical? That. Will destroy days of planning, subplots by the dozen, and an entire dungeon.

You heard me, that lighting tube is full of a chemical that will react with fire and explosive force when it contacts air. And the entire Bolthole is lined with it.

Why did I include an unmarked crate of high explosive covering that wide of an area? Because what are the odds of someone being stupid enough to waste time and energy shooting the light bulb? Actually, in hind sight, probably one hundred percent. Damn.

So, in the spirit of this literally earth-shattering event, the edited turn will not be in the classic format, it will be in block-paragraph of pure written word. A true obituary deserves that much respect.

Do you now see why I was acting like a teen age female who just spilled fruit punch on their prom dress?

I probably shouldn't have included something like that. The level of bat-shit insanity flying around kind of sealed the fate.... Eh, I'll just avoid cataclysmic explosions in the future. That last sentence hurt to write.

Did I roll a 5 or a 6 by the way?

A four actually, a four plus one for strength. Meaning collapse initiated.

So....The turn isn't up yet. So we can't be sure whether or not Josh dies?

Also, I'm pretty sure I know who voted the fifth option in the poll...

It was a five meaning you succeeded in starting the collapse. You didn't make an action to start escaping.

What. You think you're going to live? This isn't Pissed off GM syndrome either, but I said the tube continued far into the tunnel. Meaning you just trapped yourself and a lit high-explosive into a small space. Maybe I didn't explain the magnitude of this explosion properly.

You will be vapor.

Ah, well. At least I'll have an unmarked grave.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

Actually, I did overreact. Josh is a guaranteed death, for more reasons than forced karma. But there is a shot at saving some or all of the rest of you. Why? Because the shockwave will have to blast through a wall of rubble (Thanks Josh), the wave of air will precede the wave of fire and concussive force, possibly knocking you into the air by pushing you out of the narrow path of least resistance and launching you into the air, causing a fall, but not a roasting. Plus there's always the roll for Arken seeing the possible death incoming and warning some of you out quickly enough. I mean, he did design the whole thing.

But this is still a massive inconvenience and a large quantity of possible deaths, but they aren't certain. Go dice!

Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention the earthquake. There's always that. And the resulting volcanic activity. That, too.

So... Yeah. If I failed to impress the massive size of this explosion on you, that, and the fact that you are surrounded by mountains, before, I think that last sentence should help clear it up for you.

I probably shouldn't set off multi-megaton explosions while in a geology course. Leads to too much realism. I also should probably avoid building easily-activated stockpiles of potential energy that is on par with all the force packed into the average nuclear submarine into places I expect you all to go.
