Water brothers can loosely be defined by this paragraph:

Quote
Any two people (male or female) who share water. Water brotherhood is an intense, serious commitment. It is joining a family, and trust and love are assumed. The principle of "Be excellent to one another " is a must.

At the moment Valentine is accustomed to everyone around him knowing how serious a commitment sharing water is, but Blenk won't, so he'd be able to join it and take advantage of him. He's a naive nestling, but senses the good in Blenk and notices he's in pain; so he's hoping a partnership will be of some comfort to Blenk, even though I don't have anything to physically heal him. He hopes Blenk accepts! He is very excited to make a friend in this strange land(LOL OMG OMG LOL)

He's also familiar with going into a state called "borrowed time" where your mind can work much much faster, and can basically slow down the body to the point where he could stay submerged in water for days. He thinks that this is what Blenk is trying to do, and will patiently wait until Blenk awakes

Interesting.... I have no idea what culture would spawn a ritual/tradition like that but it should make an interesting (and exploitable) plot device.

Oh yeah, and for those of you who basically "wait" or just burn your turn away in some other "meaningless" way. There are things you can be doing, such as Valentine over there could be trying to pry the giant metal bar off his water brother, or Blenk could be... Actually. He's basically fucked. He's doing all he can. But for future reference, there's also collecting water/resources, trying to build a shelter, fashioning a weapon, training yourself in some way (you have to come up with it, don't just write "train", say "stretch" or "practice TK" or "Punch a tree" or "go swimming" or... You get the idea. ), and so on.

I'm currently in need of reading material in any case.

Slightly tongue-in-cheek, as I was referring to Stranger in a Strange Land. I suppose it is a classic, but it's less than a century old.

I think I'll be Posting To Watch this.
Out of curiosity, what book did you get the idea of Valentine from?  I need a new book to read.

If I had to guess, Robert Anson Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land.

Uh, after a quick Google, yes, that seems to be very much his inspiration.

Look for any Kitchen Utensils that could be used as weapons. Exit the Hut and find...a Cave.

Never knew his middle name was Anson. Yes Stranger in a Strange Land was the "inspiration"(blatant rip-off). Which explains my self-reaction at my statement: "He is very excited to make a friend in this strange land(LOL OMG OMG LOL)"

Also, I didn't notice he was pinned under the wreckage. Obviously I'll want to get him out from there so he can answer my offer

Try to slither away from the area, leaving sparks in your wake, as that is obviously the most dramatic exit we can pull off right now.

Once alone, climb a tree and observe surroundings.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

Turn Seven

Grek
Quote
Consume healing powder!

{3} You consume the healing powder. It heals your wound(s).

Josh
Quote
Take a drink then head to the forest, look for food and a place to rest.

{5-1+1} You drink from the nearby river. You walk off into the forest and find a tree with a fork that is about six feet up the trunk. You climb up to it and settle down for sleep.

Blenk
Quote
Groan in pain, and stay as still as possible, to lessen any blood-flows.

{3} You groan audible to Grek and Ynot. You do not move otherwise.

Valentine
Quote
get him out from there so he can answer my offer

{3} You manage to partially shift the metal strut..

Bork
Quote
Look for any Kitchen Utensils that could be used as weapons. Exit the Hut and find...a Cave.

{5} You find a veritable collection of butchery tools! The hermit that lived here must have loved his meat.</Hint> You take the bladed implements and leave.

Ynot
Quote
Try to slither away from the area, leaving sparks in your wake, as that is obviously the most dramatic exit we can pull off right now. Once alone, climb a tree and observe surroundings.

{3} You slither away from the area, leaving your, now slightly slimy, victims behind. You attempt to discharge some sparks on your way out but fail to do so. You climb into a tree.

Unknown Human
Quote
politely wait until Bork leaves. Look through the hut. We if there's something that could be used to heat me up.

{6} You back out of the hut just as Bork is leaving with his small arsenal and manic gleam in his eye, you shudder involuntarily at that sight. You enter and start a fire in the fireplace of the hut using the flint, iron chunk, wood shavings, and logs all stationed in a neat pile near the fireplace.

Status:

Blenk

Half-Ogre
Pinned under the Wreckage.
Clothed in torn leather trousers.
Soaked. Broken nose. Broken false rib. Internal and External Bleeding.
Speaks Common. Novice Shaman. Pinned. Mind is Fuzzy.

Grek

Half-Dragon
Standing on the Wreckage.
Clothed in torn leather trousers.
Soaked.
Fire Breath. Mighty. Flight. Immunity to Heat. Klutz.

Josh

Yeti
Sleeping in a tree.
Clothed in torn leather trousers.
Ruptured knee muscles. Long cut. The water staunches your bleeding. You are no longer in pain.
Speaks Common. Mighty. Agile. Resistance to Cold. Low I.Q. Maimed. Asleep (easy target!).

Unknown Human

Human.
Inside the hut.
Clothed in torn leather trousers.
Unharmed.
Speaks Common.

Ynot

Eel.
Molesting the other adventurers.
Clothed in torn leather trousers.
Soaked.
Dabbling Teslamancer. (1 use!)

Valentine

Human.
A short distance away from the Platform.
Holding a (very) roughly cup-shaped piece of metal filled with water. Clothed in torn leather trousers.
Soaked.
Speaks Martian. Novice Telepath. Novice Telekinetic.

Bork

Human.
Nearly to the hut.
Holding a small arsenal of steel cutting tools (their contents are based on your roll whenever you decide to search through them). Wielding a wooden club (plus one bashing damage). Clothed in torn leather trousers.
Soaked. Heavy bruising of the arm. Three broken toes. Broken nose. Bleeding. Great pain.
Speaks Swedish. Maimed. Charged. Wound (-1 to attempts to use mangled arm.)

Spot/Listen Check:
{4} You finally notice the dwarf that has been yelling and waving at you for two turns now. You also notice the rain has stopped. You also notice the plume of smoke rising over the forest. (distance is not specified as roll is not good enough.)

-~-~-

I have wanted to show you that dwarf for an annoyingly long time. Hopefully your spot check is better when the next npc/npc group shows up.

I have a note for Blenk,
I would like to define your shaman magic. Right now it is basically a novice skill level in every nature/elemental school of magic. I would like to crunch that down somewhat.
How does this sound?
 - Novice Element of your choice
 - Novice Healing
 - Dabbling Nature Control

Any complaints, additions, or other thoughts you have on this will be appreciated, and considered.

As for you Unknown Human,
Considering you have absolutely no combat or magical skills, now would be a good time for an asspull backstory. Choose something your character has been "studying/working on for the past month" or something to that effect. You're going to need some skills or powers and everyone else seems to have either started on a few skills, have some racial thing, or just roleplayed a backstory of skill.

Any information about your characters is appreciated, because if he/she is seven feet tall and you don't say it, I will gladly walk him into a three foot gap in a wall, or say he can't climb a 6 foot fence. It's all up to you.
