Aim carefully at the goblin and fire at his vital organs.

Shatter the goblin's face. Follow up by smacking him about with the steel strut.

Look for something to use to capture a sprite with.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

Well, Lazarus, I don't think this world is Earth. Given the sentient land-eels and goblins and such.

Turn Thirty-Two

Players:

Sarron
Quote
Plummet.

{6} Dashing by at near the speed of sound, Sarron does plummet quite perfectly. Managing to accelerate by pumping his remaining wing and streamlining his body. Impact in six seconds.

Grek
Quote
Attempt fire breath again!

{5v3} Extricating himself from the pit he had fallen into, Grek stalks up behind the goblin. Takes a deep breath, and heartily covers the goblin from head to toe in flames. Pretty color, too.

Klaus
Quote
Aim carefully at the goblin and fire at his vital organs.

{2v6} Undettered by previous failures, Klaus prepares himself to fire again. He takes a deep breath... steadies the sights.... OoH A SQUIRREL! Miss.

Gragrar
Quote
Shatter the goblin's face. Follow up by smacking him about with the steel strut.

{5} Seeing a chance as the goblin releases his grip on your weapon to try to put out the fires now covered his body, you begin to lay about him with your weapon. Beating the goblin with the flat of your blade, for some reason. The first strike lands smoothly on his hooked nose, breaking it. The second caves in a small part of his skull around the temple. The third crushes the left eye into a bloody mess. Gouts of blood begin to pump forth from each wound and several of his orifices.

Unknown Human
Quote
Look for something to use to capture a sprite with.

{3} Gazing about in the wreckage, Unknown searches for a jar. Stereotypes are always effective, right? Apparently not. It seems no matter how hard or long he searches, there are simply no jars in the immediate area.

John Zombie
Quote
Back away from fighting. Look at surroundings. No gold. Bored

{6} Inexplicably, there is a small gold vein visibly on the surface of the mountain. Behind a curtain of lava. How you saw it considering the lava? Space pirates.

Hex
Quote
Examine the little fires.

{6} Twenty little sprites are encircling the area of combat, while three are moving towards an area just slightly away from it.

NPCs:

Goblin
Quote
Attackattackattack

{5v5} Having your face turned into hamburger is never a pleasant experience. Goblin spends most of his time screaming, or more accurately, gurgling.

Archer
Quote
Wrestle my way on top of the bird, use it as a cushion for landing.

{4v2} Continuing her luck, Archer finds herself standing atop the bird, using both wings to stabilize her. This also allows her to 'steer' Sarron somewhat. Still falling.

Spot/Listen Check:

{10} The fire sprites seem to be encircling the newly blood-stained are where most of the fighting is taking place. It is roughly a twenty foot diameter circle. They are not closing in, though they are rotating in place and pulsating. Grek manages to spot a few dim lines of light in the ground, they fade away before he is even fully sure he saw them.

Observe surroundings for some spare rocks. Any thing to block the lava from the gold.
Gets angry. Throws snowpebbles into lava. Carefully oversee fight.[/b]

Welcome to the forums, Zombiebrains234!

Consider how to kill the sprites if need arises.
