Hmmm... Dilemma. Valentine is being set to A.I. but his A.I. is a three. Which is "benefit self". The problem arises when you think about what he is right now, technically benefiting him could be construed as staying a thought bubble, or rejoining his body. I can't just delay the action by attacking something or doing some menial training, because a thought bubble is incapable of doing these things.

In less words, what do I do with Valentine?
Have him levitate an elf or something.

Turn Thirteen

Players:

Bork
Quote
Try to get the sword off of the body of Mono, while Josh is carrying him, and try to infuse it with Electrical power with the power of MY MIND. and the Storm.

{5} You quickly sprint away from the Assassin and charge off into the woods in pursuit of the Yeti and his treasure trove. {6} You slow down your movements when you hear the beast lumbering through the forest ahead of you, you make absolutely no sound. Maybe a little too slow though. You fall slightly farther behind him and lose the trail.

Josh
Quote
Using my hammer smash bork into tiny pieces then take my loot and leave.

{2} You don't see anyone to bash to pieces. You continue on your way but now that you have some peace and quiet you start to pick your way through the elf's possessions while you walk. You manage to strip him off all his armor but leave him in his arming gear (basically thin clothing worn under armor to keep it from chafing).

Gragrar
Quote
Stomp the Assassin's head. Quickly compare effectiveness of Strut and the assassin's bastard sword, choose which ever is better, leaving the other behind. If the elf is dead retreive his corpse and carry it with me. Run to Arken and try to protect him.

{2} You walk up to the downed Assassin and aim a kick at him to knock him flat on his back so as to open him up for a killing blow. Your kick misses and without any resistance you fly forward and tumble to the ground on top of the now dead mount.

Grek
Quote
Continue the Elven Massacre.

{5} You assume the Assassin closest to you will simply bleed out from his grievous injury, so you charge on toward the Assassin trying to kill the shaman. You charge to his aid! {6+1} The assassin nimbly leans to the side to avoid your overhand swing. (I'm considering the plus one agility to negate his 6 negative.)

Blenk
Quote
Blenk will try and do something with his magic. Maybe daze one of the evil beasts temporarily?

{5} Blenk summons a small chunk of dirt into the air above his palm, it slowly reforms into a solid perfectly spherical rock. Your magic launches it at great speed toward the wounded elf. {6} The elf dives out of the way and lands on his chest in the dirt.

Klaus
Quote
Re-enter the cave and look at the stockpile of food and anything I might have missed

{6} You walk back into the cave and carefully examine the entire structure. The pile of meat is exactly that. There is pair of war fur boots and a cloak in a niche in the wall. There is a small torch in the far corner giving the room light.

Unknown Human
Quote
Walk outside, grab a Warhammer, study the situation, head back inside, look for decent clothes

{6} You lean out and collect a *Bronze Warhammer*. {4} You see the mangled screaming elf, the overly jumpy combat dominating the rest of the field and decide to duck back inside. {2} You rifle through the cabinets but find nothing but meat.

Ynot
Quote
Continue slithering mountainwards. Examine weather

{N/A} You make some progress up the mountain. You notice the storm is showing no signs of abating any time soon.

Sarron
Quote
Step off platform and run to cover.

{N/A} Sarron climbs out of the Wreckage and sprints into the forest.

{3}A.I. Valentine
Quote
Attempt to take over the nearest fully functional body.

{6} Valentine's demented bubble of thought searches for a body to conquer. It sets it's sights on Gragrar.* Roll to resist {2} Gregrar fails to prevent the human from gaining entrance. Valentine enters with more force than necessary and actually scrambles the brain and causes temporary psychological damage.

NPCs:

Arken
Quote
Wake up.

{N/A} Arken rouses himself and stands up.

Assassin Scales
Quote
Scales will attack the new threat.

{5} Assassin Scales lashes out quickly aiming to disarm the new adversary. {5} The dragon creature blocks the strike with his hammer.

Assassin Quake
Quote
Shake off the pain and stand. There is revenge to be taken.

{5} Quake rises to his feet, takes up arms once more. Blaze of glory kill streak time. Charging after the bastard that maimed him. {6-1} Despite his fall the human remains agile. Rolling out of the way of the cleaving blow.

Assassin Dutch
Quote
Chase after the human, leaving my mount behind when I enter the trees.

{6+1} Dutch runs off into the trees in search of his quarry. Weaving with ease between the trees as if he were in his verdan homeland. He finds his target bumbling about in the undergrowth. SNEAK ATTACK! {2} You do not see the elf behind you before his blad is lodged in your abdomen directly below the ribcage, tearing apart your left kidney and your small intestines.

You may notice I rolled for people just looking around inside a building/construct/natural formation. A simple unfailable action, no? It is. I roll to determine what loot is sitting inside of said building.

*: You were the closest body, I figured it said it had to benefit Valentine, and taking over Bork or any of the Assassin's would just get him killed. So a skilled warrior with zero wounds sounds like a nice trade-up.

**: When your head takes a hard enough hit, coordination is a pretty common thing to lose.

Valentine, you can leave any time you want and resume your previous existence. So long as your currently defenseless body remains intact.

Remember that storm? Three turns, I said. Two turns remaining.

Oh, and sorry about the wait. This one got somewhat complicated.

Think "DAMNIT VALENTINE YOU'LL GET US BOTH KILLED" Try to get him out of my head and if I have time take up my steel strut. If not, try to find shelter.

Also, if I retrieve the steel strut, name it "The Disarmer"

I don't think I phrased it like that...

Burn a surviving elf to death! If all elves are dead or dying, burn a mount; if all mounts are dead/dying/fleeing, try to heal dwarf's wounds.

Blenk will rush to Bork and try to help him! Kill the assassin! Or something! If possible, try and heal Bork, or at least stabilize him.

I don't think I phrased it like that...

Burn the elf to death!

I'm just assuming he is as good as dead. Besides, dramatic tension and a heavily bleeding one-armed elf that will pass out and never wake up in about two turns really work well together.

Look for a cluster of trees that will surve as a suitable shelter from the storm if unable to find one continue on walking through the forest.

Oops. Sorry about that one guys, I forgot about those of you already inside a shelter being safe from the storm (it is an annual occurrence, all the residents built their structures prepared to weather the worst it could dole out). I fixed it.

Only if he wants to. Currently you can't do anything but try to evict him. But if he tries to do something with your body you can contest it.

Put on boots and cloak. Load crossbow. Grab some meat and try to see what kind it is.
The boots and cloak will help protect me from the weather right?

((Tip, Onyx: NEVER BE VAGUE. I wasn't sure who Dutch or Quake were attacking until I looked down at the status inflictions. Instead of saying 'the human' say Bork, or 'Unknown Human Guy'. It just helps.))

Let my partner heal me, while bashing away at the assassin with 'WTHIINW'

To a degree, yes. It will extend your hypothermic death clock to five turns. You are still shirtless in a blizzard.

I was going for a deeper roleplay thing because technically no one here actually knows anyone else's name. Excluding Arken. He introduced himself. I think. That's probably because of the many language barriers, no one actually caring to have a meet and greet while in combat, and me not doing the classic DF thing and forcing one of the Assassins to call out: "I am Ne' Gok Mur." "Prepare to die."

But it got old trying to find a good enough number of accurate insulting nouns for each of you and the little pansies. I'm just going to say the names.

Put the sword across my back and put the chest plate on one arm as a vambrace, toss the old log away and hide the elves body in a bush and head back in the direction I just came, if I come across the annoying human or another elf draw the sword and hammer and attack with both weapons, the elf dies first.

(( Whys that lol fire? I came across an elf, it's now missing a head and I didn't get a scratch. ))
