You're one jump away from Byzantium.  You could have used literally any other unit as a roadblock to stop me from leaving my Fort.  If I didn't know better, and I don't, I'd swear you were leaving them there as a threat, willing to let them be destroyed so you could act all self-righteous about my unprovoked aggression just like this.

They're freakin' assassins.  They have exactly one use in the game, a use you already demonstrated.  Their existence is game-changing enough that the creators acknowledged it by making them a proscribed unit.  You cannot seriously say with a straight face that leaving them guarding another player's nobles is not a threat.

This whole discussion seems rather pointless now.  Hazat has secured the orbit of Byzantium now and can kill our nobles one by one thanks to your immense stupidity.  Not only did you allow for open combat in Byzantium, but you allowed him to cross the rubicon without al-Malik or myself discovering it.  Tell me, did he arrange this with you and you genuinely dont expect the inevitable betrayal once he was one heartbeat from the imperial throne?  Or is this perhaps you just not realizing that militarizing the orbit of Byzantium might pose a long term threat.

Is Lord Lazarus making a move for the throne? Or do the Hazat simply war with the Li Halan? What are we to believe? These recent developments worry us, given the open warfare on Byzantium Secondus. We have always respected the Hazat and their role within the galaxy, so we ask what their intentions are with regard to the throne world.

The Hazat has never claimed to be an Emperor material. We were eyeing(hehe Eye-ing, git it? Oh, I'm on fire...) Li Halan resource-rich holdings for a longer while now, and we've been discussing this matter with other houses extensively.

I don't see why such an uproar. Byzantium secundus happens to be the only viable concentration point for our armada, so we have used it.

It is only due to Lord Mainiac's decision to move his own fleet over to Byzantium, surely for no other reason than "maintaining parity", that we had to postpone the execution of our invasion until the danger is removed.

You are going to be in for quite the surprise when you make it to my worlds and see just how "rich" they are.

I know exactly. The Eye, remember?
What you don't know is how "rich" MY worlds are by comparison.
You have two desert planets supplying you with endless amounts of trace and energy. Kebooo and Margrave have got one each. All next to your homeworlds.
Compare me and Aqizzar. We've only managed to land Vau just a few years back.
Additionally, there is not a single jungle world in the southern sectors.
So don't talk to me about being poor, eh? :P

I hate jungle worlds, you can have them. I had three at one point. I feel as though food has been my limiting resource. I have so much exotica that I might start feeding it to the people. I will admit Shaprut is a beautiful world and I am glad to have her. Can't say I'm enamored with any of the others.

Is there a barren world in our galaxy?

Nope. You can stop researching Barren Environs, guys.

War once more? And here I thought we'd all learned to be friends.

I never sent out my frigates far from the homestead since I didn't want to step on any toes. And not a single barren world huh? I feel a mixture of disappointment and apathy. Disapathy.

I didn't bother scouting a bunch of planets I knew I'd never appreciably touch anyway.

Without a doubt, my biggest limiting factor has been Trace.  The five worlds that I've managed to secure for myself are almost devoid of deserts or tundra of any useful size.  Including Delphi, as most of its terrain is not tundra but forest.  With enough ocean I've been able to comfortably meet my Energy needs, but I'll simply never have enough Trace make large use of the upper tech tree.

The Decados are open for any trade offers for our trace. We have plenty, more than enough to rid ourselves of some.

Turn sent.

Also, keep in mind some units have relatively loss trace investment, considering. For example, a Cybercorps unit is going to be less than 9 trace of investment per unit, while a Mega Tank's is almost quadruple that.

I should consider that yeah.  I mean, I've got all this exotica going to waste anyway, but it's not like I've got a bunch of free Energy or Electronics to throw around.  Plus research, whatever.

Turn sent.

I find it interesting that except for me, everyone has achieved rough parity in number of cities.  Everyone supposedly has similar levels of technology, but it seems to be in very areas.  Only me and Mainiac have bothered selling enough resources to have a giant cash stockpile.  And everyone has roughly similar numbers of units, except for Margrave whose number of toy soldiers is astronomical.

Also, I'm pretty sure we're all constantly spying on each other at this point.
