I have no idea why my score started to sky rocket. It should actually be going down after all that I lost on Tethys. I was even trying to figure out what possibly could have caused such a sudden jump but I just don't know. I'd like to pretend I have some super secret weapon being unleashed, but that would be news to me. It's almost like I've inherited a ministry for the past two turns.

It's all the outlying settlements you have on manitu, pentuch, leminkainen, etc.

Nothing much has changed throughout my empire over the last two turns, though. I disbanded thousands of energy and trace on Tethys so you wouldn't get it. I'm extremely curious to know how they determine the score. Does anyone know?

Turn sent.  I was going to say maybe the score screen just wants to really bring home who knows how to play the game and who doesn't, but I guess if nobody knows how the score thing works, I'm not going to pay attention to it.

A stalemate?  A tied vote?  It is a conclave of four.

There can be no mistake about exactly what is afoot.

Time.  Only time.

(Turn sent.)

I have no idea how score is determined and now that it can be altered by possibly disbanding resource bins I very well might dismantle so much energy as to reach millions upon millions of points.

Maybe its a form of prestige? The game assumes you're so damn powerful that you actually enjoy burning energy for the fun of it and adjusts the score to compensate.

Do you ever get that nagging feeling where you aren't sure whether or not you went back and do a final crucial move or not but have no way to check until next turn?

All the same, I look forward to the amusing sight of Keboo trying to make fighters and bombers go toe to toe with Cadiz class cruisers.

(it's Vlad cruisers; the Cadiz is a dreadnought)
That's the best tactic against those ships in my opinion. The chance to hit a fighter on board a carrier is 5% for a cruiser and 10% for a dreadnought. Even decloaked they'll soak up most of the big cannon shots.
After all, that's how I got your fleet the last time we played.

Glorious day!
The planet of Vau is free from the alien influence. With the, mostly moral, support from the Fleet, the Hazat have managed to bring the word of God to the desert people. Once freed from the tyrrany of their cruel masters, the alien creatures have either accepted the baptisms and agreed to serve the Lord's children, or were baptised with fire, as is ordained in the holy scriptures.

This part of the galaxy is again at peace, freeing the Fleet to pursue its other important duties, like guarding the space over our capital, or raining fire and brimstone on the Symbiot scum.

Praise the Lord.

I think you will find the fleet I have arrayed against you has more than enough Vlad cruisers to stand toe to toe.

And here I was thinking you were going to try and attack before the rest of my fleet could arrive.

Then let our ship hulls clutter the oceans of Cadavus for the ages to remember.

I was going to apologize this afternoon, but then the system went down at work so I took the opportunity to round out my turn this morning.  Serves them right for making me work eleven hours yesterday.

A tie vote.  A tie of four votes.  I now know exactly who my allies are.

And exactly who is not.

Forces are in motion that I can no longer stop, if I ever could before.

And they are growing stronger.

Chaos reigns across human worlds, and the far frontiers are being snatched away from my own largess.  Thrice have I trusted in the judgement and cooperation of peaceful men and thrice have I seen order fail.

And I will not bear to see it again.

The time is not right.  But the time will never be right.

"Warmaster!  Rouse the Guard.  This Empire has suffered long enough with an incompetent steward.  The least I can give it is an incompetent potentate.

And let it be known that henceforth, any man found carrying a blade on the streets of Byzantium is an enemy of the state.  Trust in righteous hearts is too costly a vulnerability now."

A curious declaration our regent has made here.  And who exactly does he think will enforce it?

I don't think you give this declaration enough weight my fellow Nobles.

I think not.

The orbit of Cadavus is mine once more.  Li Halan casualties were one fighter, one frigate and one destroyer.  All Decados ships were destroyed.
