Oh, quirky Li Halan!
That you feel the need to excercise your power over Decados out of pure spite and in the absence of any political gain is already unbecoming of a great statesman, the head of a Noble House.
But your announcement of compliance with our Gracious Regent's order only to rescind that decision and manufacture ad hoc conditions once the Decados Freighter is on the last leg of its voyage through your space, is what I find infantile.
Finaly, the nature of the condition is so ridiculously silly in its redundancy, that it appears to have been created only to empower your ego by having Lady Gorakhan bow down to your pointless demand.
Are you perhaps planning on playing cat-and-mouse with that freighter? To allow it to pass only to order the crew to turn back at a gun point, and then change your mind again - and so ad infinitum?
I had been willing to stand by your right to demand at least a declaration of intent from the passing ships, perhaps even a modest compensation from the other party, hoping that it would lead to a lasting, peaceful agreement between you two.
Then the Regent spoke, and you seemed to listen, at which point the dispute should have died quietly, giving way to calm and reasoned discussion about future relations between the parties concerned.
Now I see you as, to use commoner's language, a butthurt bully whose word is worth less than the air it is carried by.
You're showing yourself to be an increasingly volatile presence in the region, and as such I deem you unfit to command the Fleet.
Frankly, I'd like to slap you in the face for acting so childish, but then I'd have to negotiate passage through Hawkwood space, and Lord Aqizzar is way to wise to allow that.
