In short, because my internet doesn't work great at the moment.

Bladed robots are bad at plant management, use something ranged or with more applications instead.

Anything that is rationally possible is possible in game. It's an RTD

So if we're not gonna use bladed bots, can we use laser bots instead? :D

If you can find a way to be certain your laser will not set fire to the forest then go ahead but I don't wanna burn to death :P.

CO2 lasers heat tissues high in water content to boiling point, vaporising cells and searing open wounds shut. That should do the trick for plant control :D

I think I'm gonna stick to sharp knifes and salting the ground around the camp or using some form of chemical the kills anything organic :).

my intended path is
robots, fire, locusts, genetically engineered super-locusts,  triceratops and then going stark raving mad if none of them work.

Once one of them clears some land tho ill just use salt or some herbicide to keep it clear

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Salt is only short term it'd work since it would kill the earth starving it of water but I'd rather not make a camp in the middle of a graveyard.
I want to set up a nice big wall at some point just in case though.
Preferably made of very thick metal.

Plants are good at overgrowing it, or spreading through cracks. Robots appear to be a good choice, but we know that at least some plants are strong enough to crack and kill them.

Fire will be useless, or too usefull. Most trees can whistand a forest fire, but if it gets out of control it will torch everything, including us.

Salting would take way to much salt. Changing the PH would work well. Maybe we can use Soylent orangem, or whatever chemic toxin was used in the vietnam wars.

Probably using a safer alternative, but an industrial toxin is very usefull to kill trees.

There's 4 of us on an island. I doubt we'd ever get more than 200 citizens.

Besides, we'd be buying said product, can't come up with anything.

still. and since we dont have to test it, get the safest one for humans and only spray it in places where it wont affect our water, crops or anything else of ours.
