Plant's can not grow through solid rock and if it's a hill so much the better.

Well its a jungle planet so it needs water so I'd assume it will rain heavily at some point so probably.
Another reason to build on high ground on rock.

All we need is some huge leafs and some none murderous vines.

im just saying we could probably buy some simple plastic sheeting for like 5 credits per ten square feet or something instead of trying to cut a huge leaf off a plant and getting pulled apart by defense vines.
