I'm pretty sure the vines would've crushed the pod anyway, but theres a chance he might have set off a self defence mechanism.
Yeah, that would have aggravated things. With the vines and the pod it might have been 6 more actions before he got devoured, now with Leon and the vines and the pod we're looking at a couple more actions at best :(

Well he was going to die for sure if I did nothing about it so nothing to do really.
What was with that luck lol the other 3 all land fine and then he lands trapped in a tree and I'm the only one close to him and I can't get to my equipment.

Possible economic potential: Veins appear to have great tensile strength. They are also capable of contracting with large amounts of force, in order to cut things. Might be usefull to know more about these.

also i agree that we should find out more about them, grab the parts that your robot removed and a sample of those fluids while your there and ill screw around with them when we get a lab set up :D

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

I'd love to help, fellas, but I'm busy unearthing long-buried entities that are almost certainly not hostile! Say GUNIN, does the cryo unit have a lever or something to open the door, or will it have to be manual power?
I believe I said that it had a lever in an earlier post.

aka on a roll of 4,5 or 7+

edit: that's only if gunin does a roll for hostility after you get it open without killing it of course.

Actually more like 33%

Since if you get a 6 there's a fair chance the resulting over shoot will be just as bad as if you'd rolled a 2.

magnets... it is compressed into a single crystal by using magnets... when you let it out its gonna go all anti gravity crystal being and grow to at least 3 times its compressed size :D
