Still, the battlefield seems cramped. No explanation is going to cover that.

You literally logged onto Steam to tell that fact which Dex and I were perfectly aware of to both of us recently then immediately logged off. Here's an example of what the field might look like if everything was smaller.))

Yeah, it actually makes sense.  Dex's troops are from another universe, they would likely be a different size, just because of evolution.  Also, it scales, so Freeform and Dex are even.  Not to mention, they could always draw more map if they really, really wanted.  And as you just saw, Freeform could easily make his units smaller.  But he didn't, Dex made his small.  He mentions that too.  So yeah, it looks nice as it is.

I find it more likely that they would be the same size, more or less, and look different than that they would look the same except for size. Anyways, why is the Might's side so much smaller?

Well, the human form is a fairly effective one, if they were on similar planets, which in theory they would be, since very few types of planets can support life, they should look the same.  Or you know, just chalk it up to wacky coincidence.  But it really isn't our place to tell Dex and Freeform how to do their duel.

If you use evolutionary lack-of-coincidence to justify something, don't chalk something else which is much less probable up to coincidence. And I was giving a suggestion, not an order. I just think freeformschooler's mockup of a shrunken battlefield looks better than the one they were using. It also makes the bridge less of a random thing they could probably avoid by jumping and more of an important tactical consideration.

I saw it such as the daros universe itself is smaller in general relativity to the final fantasy ivalice universe, meaning that if you traveled from daros to ivalice (which I presume this is situated in) without tinkering with size magick or technology, the darosians would be much smaller due to how larger the lifeforms an reality is in ivalice in comparison. No one says all universes are the same size, or if the beings inside have to be the same size as their universe counterparts in other worlds!

Or its a load of hooey and we are just doing this for shits and giggles.
