Al Malik is already getting Aylon out of this deal, so kind as we Li Halan are, we can not allow them to overstretch their forces so much.  Of course, if Al Malik were to recognize Criticorum as a Li Halan fief, that would be different.

Aylon is 2 away from Kish and right next to Istakhr.  We are "getting" it?  Do you feel as if you are entitled to the entire galaxy or something?

Also... um, what are you referring to here?  I don't see any previous mentions of Aylon except for me mentioning in passing that it was next to my homeworld.

Hawkwood said they would recognize Aylon as yours (so will we) if you recognize Leminkainen as his. Of couse then you started this "negotiation", so you might no longer be getting that...

House Hawkwood would also like to note that, in spite of whether its claim on Leminkainen is granted, it has no interest in acquiring or otherwise claiming Aylon and Criticorum. The claim on Leminkainen will only be enforced upon the agreement of all parties involved (Al-Malik, Li-Halan & Hawkwood).

I may be wrong but it seems to me that all Hawkwood is doing here is laying out the principle that you don't go encroaching on people.  This is a good principle, it avoids conflicts.

Recognize Criticorum then, and everyone will be happy (and unencroached).

Negotiation works better if you offer something to the guy you want to make a.concession.

I would be willing to give you control over criticorum space and withdraw from lemimkainen but at the very least I need malignatius in exchange. Otherwise this is a very one sided negotiation.

That's what I'm offering. Lemimkainen for Hawkwood, Malignatus for you and Criticorum for me. And apparently you also get Aylon.

I am already there, but let me have another look at the map, I will retire if it won't jeopardize my intended borders too much, or if it would jeopardize yours as much; which happens all too easily when most of my borders are with Byzantium II.
