When a spaceship is blown out of orbit above a planet that neither sides control on the other hand there would be plenty of witnesses.  So please, just give this crap a rest.
Yeah, about that. This is a feudal future*. Are you seriously going to conduct interviews with peasants in enemy occupied territory?

(*) where mass media is not just outlawed, but if spotted would be hunted down by the inquisition. Feel free to ignore this part- it's from the wiki.

Also, I am fairly sure I control Leminkainen, please refer to the blue tint in Leminkainen (except rebels managed to seize the Palace back, but that is both unlikely and temporary).

Uh... yah doy!

You just attacked the personal retinues of the de facto head of the Imperium, a body to which you are nominally loyal.  This de facto head also controls the intelligence agencies.  You did this in front of millions of witnesses.  You don't think that she wouldn't be able to round of one or two hundred credible ones?  It's not like feudal societies were above letting imprisoned felons testify when they wanted to (see the trial of Joan D'Arc) but there's probably plenty of lesser nobles who would make fine witnesses for the events.

Of course all of this is just sort of a side detail because this takes place in a sci-fi setting where there are electronics and holo-recordings.  Or that there would be rubble spread out through the system bearing al-Malik colors and markings.  Or that a couple years later the events would be witnessed by telescopes in other systems.  This isn't something you could plausibly deny happening.

I don't even know what the point of arguing this is anymore.  Does anybody actually have the slightest bit of OOC doubt that Azthor did this?  If he wants to say that IC he demands and appeal to the imperial courts and dragged the case out for decades I'm fine with it.  But I should be entitled to show people OOC proof of what happen if they actually doubt it, just like Azthor used OOC proof of my messages to him.

Not that it matters (we have FTL in this stetting, and the suns are fading (what does that even mean?!)) but unless your bulk hauler is the size of a small moon it's physically impossible to see it from another star system (there just wouldn't be enough photons coming off it.).

If he wants to say that IC he demands and appeal to the imperial courts and dragged the case out for decades I'm fine with it.
I'd love to see an imperial trial. But in parallel with the rest of the game- let's not hold up the game for it (IRL such cases often take years sometimes even decades).

Who are we waiting for?

If this game can't work out it's slowness issues I feel we need to get replacement players.

The answer is the same as basically every other time you've asked that question: Ghazkull.

You mean the PMs bearing clearly IC writing?

I mean the IC communications that were clearly meant to be of a secretive nature.  IC they wouldn't bear a signature and a timestamp.  Everyone would have nothing but your word to go on.

Everyone had nothing but my word to go on, look:

Here are your timestamp and signature doing nothing.

While your admiting to the PMs' contents yourself proves otherwise, my point stands nevertheless.

Who are we waiting for?

If this game can't work out it's slowness issues I feel we need to get replacement players.

I  confirm that the save has yet to reach me, but taking issue with delay before it has been as much as 48 hours is taking it too far for my taste.

Yup, this is the slow game- more politics, less (way less  >:() turns. I'm setting up a faster one here. And we're using mainiac's new and interesting map.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the benefits of the 24/48 hours rule, but it was not a rule any of us signed up for when we joined this particular match; I don't have the time or dedication to churn out one turn a day at the present moment and would not have signed up had that been established at the start.

That said, if the general consensus is that this match could be a faster-paced game, I am fine with allowing a replacement with more time to invest into the game to take over Hawkwood in my stead. I will, however, continue to play until/unless one such a consensus is established and a replacement is found. If the later proves to be the case, no offense will be taken from my part.

I don't really have a problem with the pace of this game. Even that time there wasn't any turn movement for a week worked out alright for me, since I was on vacation.

FYI, everyone, if you want to continue this game you need to find a player to replace me.  I'm sick of the delays and figured that this game was dead from apathy.  I don't want to invest any more time in scheming and diplomacy for a game where people cant be bothered to show a little respect to their fellow players and keep things moving and engaged.

That is disappointing. But about what I expected from this game (though a little early turn-wise  :-\). Ghaz, could you add the vacancy to the thread title and the OP?
By the way, since Athzor already agreed to it last week, we would find a replacement for Hawkwood instead. Would you consider staying then, mainiac?

From what I gather Ghazkul is just as bad as Azthor.  I'd consider staying if we only had players who were willing to do their turns in a reasonable amount of time.
