Well there are some details that I wouldn't want to share but others that would be fine.  I don't think there's much chatter though because it's still the early consolidation phase though.  I imagine that things are going to change soon though once the navies start expanding.

Speaking of navies expanding, I am now reserarching jump drives.  After that I'll research and start producing freighters.  It's likely that I will have some excess shipping capacity when this happens.  Would anybody be interested in purchasing ships from me?  The price will be justifiably steep but the commodity is priceless.  Payment in firebirds would be acceptable but I would be most interested in payment in commodities, in particular vast quantities of metal and energy wouldn't be sneered at.

This isn't an immediate thing.  I think it will take me another 10 turns to build my first freighter.  But I doubt anybody is going to beat me in the space race.

I would land the freighter on a planet of your choosing for you to capture.  You would deliver the goods to me on a planet of my choosing for me to capture.  Both players would offer peace immediately after the capture.

Do you plan on having a Cyclotron by turn 16 or are you buying the singularities from Leagueheim/scavenging them from ruins? Also, I will probably have to buy trace from other players later on.

Representative of the Royal Houses, Most Ancient and Noble: In only a short time we will be expected to elect one of our own number to fill the vacant Regency. Humanity needs leadership in these dark times, the Symbiot threat must be kept in check and the Vau must know we stand united. But while I feel the need for a Regent is dire, I would urge caution before we sign away the two most powerful military forces in the galaxy to those that would horde power for themselves. I, of course, refer to the Imperial Fleet and the Imperial Garrison on Stigmata.

These forces must be used for the betterment of the Empire and not the selfish needs of individual Houses, and to the effect I am submitting the following treaty regulating the behavior of these Offices for your consideration. I encourage all you to sign the treaty, and support candidates to the Regency who not only are signatories to the treaty, but who will fill the Imperial Offices with signatories.

Article I. The Imperial Fleet
The duties of the Fleet Admiral Shall be restricted to the following:

• Maintaining a blockade against Symbiot ships attempting to cross into Human space at Stigmata
• Keeping the jump routes to and above Byzantium Secundus free from illegal blockade
• Enforcing quarantine upon plague ridden planets
• Maintaining the present size of the Fleet, and keeping the ships of the Fleet in combat-ready condition

Under no circumstances should the Imperial Fleet be used to bombard civilian targets or interfere with the sovereignty of the Royal Houses.

Article II. The Stigmata Garrison
The surface of Stigmata and the surface and jumpspace of the three Symbiot planets beyond (Absolution, Daishan, Chernobog) shall be recognized as the sovereign jurisdiction of the Garrison Commander. Under no circumstances are the military forces of the Stigmata Garrison to leave this designated jurisdiction. The duties of the Garrison Commander shall be restricted to the following:

• Keeping the surface of Stigmata itself free from Symbiot influence
• Maintaining the manufactories and military hardware of the Garrison in good working order
• Working to reclaim the three Symbiot planets for Humanity and exterminating the Symbiot threat once and for all

Article III. Enforcement
Those Officers found in to be in violation of the terms of the treaty shall be removed from office at the earliest constitutional opportunity and they and their House banned from holding office for a period no less than 100 years.

Article IV. Signatories
Those below agree to abide by and enforce the terms of the Treaty:

The noble house al-Malik will naturally sign this noble and well spirited charter.  Residing so close to the space of the abominations we understand well how dangerous they would be to humanity if we do not stand united against them.  The fleet must be used for one task and one task alone and that is to protect the empire, not to allow any faction to gain strength within imperial territory.

I had intended it to mean the routes the Houses need to transit to and from the Capital: Criticorum, Aylon, Cadavus, Pentateuch and potentially Tethys, as well as our respective homeworlds. Do you believe a clarification is in order?
