I guess I'll take Hazat, if in fact I am playing. Thanks guys! Nova mod has a good set of house rules on the Nova mod page, basically just telling you not to exploit various bugs in the game. Are we good following them?

are we following 14 proper or taking balanced traits? Not having any traits makes all houses the same.

All except 1 and 29.

I can kind of see justifications for both of those, but I guess I'm fine scrapping them. I suppose we should decide on a point limit if we're playing with traits.

It's worth coming back from the dead for a legitimate game of EoFS.

Welcome back!

I nominate a1 for Li Halan!

Because: 1) I'm not sure I'm playing, and 2) I hate playing Li Halan.

That defeats the purpose of balancing. how about +4 points?

Yeah, setting the difficulty to easy will allow one to take all the traits, but we need to come up with a point limit among ourselves. +4 sounds good to me.

Just to clarify: when we talk about balanced traits, we mean according to this methodology, so 1 point =/= 1 pick.

Unless we decide on some other number. I think we should be able to pick a small number of positive traits without having to pick up negative traits if we wish, which is why I said I thought +4 would be good.

Due to 0 experience with Nova I'll sit this one out, but encourage you to start another round as soon as this one ends.
