I was a bit worried when I saw him in that wild spin. Seemed to keep getting faster, and I thought he'd blacked out, with all the radio silence.

He seemed to straighten it out when he hit lower atmo though. Exciting stuff!

I'm not sure but I think when he was disconnecting the oxygen link with the pod, he realized "Holy shit, once I do this, I have to jump no matter what." Things like skydiving are more about not letting the fear in and just acting, and I think that extra step might have freaked him out a little.

Are there any interviews with him afterwards, yet?
