Artifact Idea: The Archway of Transformation. It's a utility artifact which can be entered once per turn by any non-divine being. It has two effects:
1. It creates a subrace out of whatever goes through it that turn with an alteration determined by rolling on the following random table:

6 | Roll on the Head table. You replace your current head(s) with that head. | tails | human skin | violet | Wolf |
7 | Roll on the Parts and Skin tables. Your part is now covered in that kind of skin. | ears | hairy chitin | albino | Snake |
8 | Roll 1d8 and divide by four. Multipy your size by the result. | Roll on Head table. | no skin | flesh | Goat |
2. Sum all the rolls from part one. If odd, Teach Populous how to speak with a randomly selected existing animal. If even, Raise Army of the new subspecies for the god that sent the populace through the archway.
