Civ revival
« on: October 06, 2012, 04:33:05 pm »

Is there any way to revive a civ via outsiders or fortresses?

If your civ is extinct can you become a new civ as a fortress?

If you pile up enough outsiders in a retired fort or something can you revive their civ?

I suppose you could use the automatic hardcoded migrants, abandon, repeat.

Outsiders dob't work cause they are non-aligned.

So does that mean if the humans or elves are gone they're gone forever?

With humans, you could try making an outsider and retiring in a human town. Elves? Yeah, pretty much.

Well, maybe if you modded to make thema fortressable civ, then yeah. Other then that, No.

You couldn't embark as them, but you could try restarting their civilization.

You can add INDIV_CONTROLLABLE to the elven or dwarven entity files to add Elf and Dwarf outsiders to Adventure Mode.
