Gosh, I don't know. :-\ Favourite words?! How am I supposed to choose just a few? Eep.

How about 'mummification'? It has an interesting ring to it. And 'transcontinental', and maybe 'bungalow'.
I don't know. This is hard.

That's easy. Get a copy of the Oxford English Dictonary, remove all the words you don't like with a sharpie, and post the remainder.

See you in three months.

Well, I meant something like this:

Not creepy rainforests with snakes and scary stuff.

That would appear to be a temperate forest.

Floccinaucinihilipilification. Longest unchallenged nontechnical word in the English language. There are, of course, longer words, like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, and the supposed chemical name for titin which would not physically fit on this site, but they're either 'technical' or it has been brought into question whether they 'count'.

Floccinaucinihilipilification.
Triple word score. You lose.

Floccinaucinihilipilification.
Triple word score. You lose.

It, unfortunately, does not fit on a Scrabble board. If it did, Scrabble games would be a lot more likely to end in bloodshed.

Even if it did fit, you would have to do some serious maneuvering to set up a situation in which you could actually spell it out.

Don't most scrabble games end in bloodshed anyway?

It's a violent game.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Nearly all board games can end in bloodshed. Especially if you are against my grandma, I have a theory she is secretly a ninja.
