Well, I don't usually post because I don't usually feel the need to.
But as per Splint's wishes, I, too, shall become a regular postman.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I appreciate this as it serves two purposes.

1. Assures me I actually, y'know, have an audience.
2. Keeps the thread alive and in view so others who may be more enthusiastic to post stuff see it too.

I appreciate someone reading. We got dorfs available if you'd like one, just check the list on the first page!

It would feel strange to claim such dwarves that have already deveolped so I'll settle on a skilled axedwarf migrant, if no migrants do show up I'll take the next born male name him "Hugo" and when he grows up wants to use a battle axe to defend the clan that he was born into, his home.

Evidently they can't traverse hills very well, as we discovered the wreckage and its contents waaaaaay up at the top of the hill, as you may have read.

Yeah I remember. The bluntness of that quote combined with a vivid imagination results in a hearty laugh. Salt to taste.

I think the wagons have trouble with hills because the wheels keep getting stuck in random potholes dwarven mountain halls.

That may be the only option we have, though supply will become an issue rather quickly again and we'll lose all of our weapons and armor that the dorfs are wearing unless I disband them....
