((If I fail to get th knowledge from the book, I give it to Tala to read. Asbes doesn't need any more right now.))
((The book can get destroyed when you try to read it. Hey, your character is acting like a jerk, things happen accordingly. :P))

Grab the book and read it!

Spoiler: Arnok Balaiken (click to show/hide)

[/quote]

(4) You grab the book but are unable to read it. It's 'The Book of Life and Death' with the lone S-Rank Unholy Spell 'Entering the Flesh again' to summon souls and put them into skeletal creatures. An unfitting name.

Spoiler: Vara Meadowbreeze (click to show/hide)

Descend to level 4.  If any loot is found on the way down, pick it up!

(3) You reach -4 without problems. Say hello. Sadly, you didn't find any books on your way down.

Woop de doop.

Look around the library dungeon. Greet fellow seeker. Hope that there's a spell book lying around conveniently. If not, sigh, and just cut to the chase and descend to level -2.

Spoiler: Angio (click to show/hide)

(3) You can't find anything but decide to follow your fellow seeker down.

"Well..."

Stop Arnok from being a jerk and gathering the knowledge for himself; Gust him off just to do so, and get the book -- not reading it.
Spoiler: Tala Aquilon (click to show/hide)

((@GM: My magic skill got to 30, do I get to change to B now?))

"Hmmm."

Help Tala prevent Arnok from getting the book (through tackling, if needed), try to read Filius then go down the stairs.
Spoiler: Asbes Elman (click to show/hide)

(2) You both were a bit too late to get the book before him. (4) Using gust you... (2) Sent him on his back anyway. (+2 Magic Skill)

(5) You read Filius and learn the spells 'Vanish Undead' (C) against minor undead and 'Soul Search' (C) to find corpses long forgotten.

((What about my spells? :( ))

((You get spells when you read them. Right now you can only read D Level book with D Level spells.))

((Fix'd sheet.))

Seeing the book Arnok retrieved, Tala's expression changed to one of disgust.

"So we were fighting souls?! Urgh, whatever the voices were, I'm glad they're gone."

Spoiler: Tala Aquilon (click to show/hide)

((So...what's in this room?))

Edit: Nevermind. Down the...stairs. Yeah. The stairs that aren't described.  :P

"...Hello."

If there's any books in this room, I shall call serious dibs.

"I feel much better now." Asbes said, stowing the book once again in his robes.

Use Soul Search, then move down if nothing happens.

"...Hello."
"Hello there!"
Spoiler: Asbes Elman (click to show/hide)

"Hey, man. You seem like a cool guy."

Pocket(?) the book, before giving Angio a Hi-Five and heading down the stairs.

Return high-five (with an 'are you serious' expression), then follow down the stairs.

"But I just got here. . . fine, we'll go down I guess." Vara says, seriously pouting.

Go down, I guess.  Think about the meaning of life while walking.

"Pleased to meet you. Asbes Elman." the young mage says, taking off one of his gloves and offering his scarred hand to Vara.

"Vara, Vara Meadowbreeze." she says, shaking your hand with a somewhat weak grasp.

Asbes put his glove back on and smiled.

"These are our companions." he says, gesturing towards the rest of the group. "I hope we are able to get to the last floor together."

"How deep does this place go?" she asks curiously.
