Tiruin:
Tiruin: Why are you taking the words of a flipped spy at face value?
There's a flipped spy among us? What?

Oh.

OH.
Yes, there is. As a matter of fact, all three dead players flipped spy, including the one whose "inspect" you're using as a case. Why weren't you paying attention to their roleflips?

No votecount yet; I don't think there are enough posts for that to be useful.

Shakerag has been prodded.

Starting to put it all together. I wonder if flavor is as important as it seems? If so, damn this is a well-made game. I do have another question, though.

LNCP/Kommandant:
Was there blood on Deathsword's hands? His death was "gentle", I know, but this will be useful information to me.

Know what I think?  I think there are two teams of spies, and Tiruin's on one of them.  No one of Tiruin's team has flipped, which why, in his head, no spies have flipped... despite EVERY PLAYER so far having flipped spy.  That's not oversight- that's thinking about the game from a scum perspective.

Also,

You're judging via the flips as a generality?

You're a dirty liar, since you mentioned them previously.

@Jim: Reasonable, but I'm under the assumption that the spies have a coverstory behind their name, though. Trying to see all viewpoints of the idea other than lacking information.

Stands to reason, then, that you'd know what spies get instead of checking back in to other LNCP games.

So ask LNCP and confirm, then.
He said I don't have any perfume. Oh well, a scum was lying. What a surprise.

That's some... convoluted logic. If anything, he should be on the Allied-spy team (I'm assuming that the fourth one is a Russian), so that would explain that in his mind no spies aka his enemies flipped.

Do you think that both teams consist of spies? If yes, how would you estimate their sizes?

Because I can't resist:

I smell Dariush.  What does he smell like?

Dariush:  I'm not sure what else the other team would be, but I assume some flavor of spy- why else would he be derp about who flips what?

I'm guessing either a standard size team plus a smaller secret team (Tiruin being the latter) or two equal sized teams with contradictory goals- I like the latter idea better.

You do? That would mean six spies in an eleven player game, considering your previous theory that none of Tiruin's buddies have flipped.

Worth a try.

LNCP:  Does that mean nobody has a day action?

Welcome to Mein Kampf: A Tale of Vainglourious Basterds, where the scum take the spotlight! This Mafia game aims to be novel, challenging, interesting, intellectually stimulating and, of course, delightfully, mischievously, uproariously fun. Though its mechanics are designed to be well-defined and coherent, this is not a vanilla game – in fact, I'd deem this setup to be quite experimental, so bear with me when you play.

UI:  The above bolded bits have to mean something.  If we assume for a second that there is more than one scum team, then assuming they don't have a standard kill (given only one night kill so far) then that doesn't seem quite so farfetched.

One cannot use sarcasm in pinpointing my suspect, am I correct? I left out using the word, Dariush in lieu of doing this.

How are you even concluding this? I can't see how this works, even in your metaphorical state of 'my mind'. Explain.

Let me tell you this. I didn't read the past LNCP games for "clues" or "hints" but I'm using real-world ideology and intuition in trying to solve this. Would a spy come into camp, unprepared even in their cover? Why are you jumping to conclusions along with UI? Heck, I'm even thinking they brought those cyanide pills to kill themselves - falsified given the death-by-boot.

Seeing the flavorclaims - I'm guessing such by referring to the already-dead, and those that have stated their information and background. Our mission states something along the lines of an artifact, I'm looking over the process of how the flavor was matched up and the person's dossier.

Let's pick TolyK for example - claimed a cop, the only deviant so far from the three dead. Was found out to be a Spy. Did you think that I'd buy him being a Cop just like that even when he claimed 'perfume' in that kind of weak proposition against Dariush? No. I'm under the assumption that he used his team's power (UI says it was specifically an inspect) as a coverstory for his own hide with such a weak push against Dariush.

Lastly:
Dariush:  I'm not sure what else the other team would be, but I assume some flavor of spy- why else would he be derp about who flips what?

I'm guessing either a standard size team plus a smaller secret team (Tiruin being the latter) or two equal sized teams with contradictory goals- I like the latter idea better.
Where did I derp, and how did you classify those groupings of yours because they're...confusing.

When I asked you that you were still rabbiting on about perfume. That's what I was talking about. You were using TolyK's inspect as if it had any weight after he flipped scum. Why are you doing that? Why are you taking the spy at his word?

Witches, wizards, golems, and elves came into town in LNCP's past games with a bare-bones backstory that they had to improvise details for.

And what conclusions am I jumping to?

That's so stupid. Of course you don't buy TolyK being a cop. Obviously he made shit up to save his ass his whole team is a cop! So very stupid, and you're assuming it while completely disregarding the much simpler and more likely assumption.

Also, I use inspect as a catch-all term for any investigative ability.

So when the Kommandant said there were four spies, he was wrong?

You may take my word as truth, but that rule does not apply to other characters in-game.

I saw that edit.
