Irony
« on: October 02, 2012, 09:08:05 pm »

Recently as my fortress was falling to the forces of darkness, a rather funky situation occured...

My Chief Medical Practioner was taken by a mood... A fell mood. So he grabbed the nearest dwarf and chopped him into a gaunlet made of bone.

The Dr. Urist McChoppy Chop then proceded to go treat other patients, now feeling estatic about the fact that he had just turned a poor sap into a piece of pretty armor.

I fear there is something rather dysfunctional about Dr. Urist McChoppy Chop...

The bad news is that we couldn't save your arm, Urist.

On the plus side, you now have armour for the other one. Try to be more careful next time, and I'll see you in 6 months for your routine checkup.

I read that out loud in switz-German. Felt good.

Also. I was shocked at the lack of iron in this thread.

Does dwarven blood contain iron?
Not enough Haemogoblinite. Dwarf blood is mostly alcohol.

Now, what would really be ironic would be if the dwarf got turned into a statue... of himself.

"This is a Urist McMurdered bone statue of the dwarf Urist McMurdered. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. Urist McMurdered is screaming. The image relates to the killing of the dwarf Urist McMurdered by the dwarf Urist McChoppy to create the Urist McMurdered bone statue The Morbid Irony in 212."
