The guard is probably still waiting outside, trying to get you when you leave.
You could still walk down the hallway and find another exit, though.

You walk down the hallway, your night eyes have adjusted back again, and you could see you're in some kind of expansive cavern. A tingling in the back of your mind strove to be heard louder than the other voices in your head. You are too tired for conversation, so you silenced it.

The smooth stone floors and burnt out lanterns suggest that this place was once part of the prison, a tunnel. You don't get why prisons would have stuffs like this to help the prisoners escape, unless they're trying to tempt people.

You were about to let you guard down when you noticed something on the floor. An armed copper bear trap. Looking around you find that there are more around this area.

Seeing how obvious they are with your night eyes, you think the traps were set later after this area was abandoned.

You walk past them easily. Briefly, you think the traps indicate danger ahead, but now that you think of it if there were any cave beasts they would have seen the trap. Plus all the traps were undisturbed.

The voice again, this time angry. Perhaps you are possessed by an evil spirit which might be the "Danger" the guard spoke about.

Heh, they don't know you're the goddamn Raiser. That guard will be in so much trouble when the Nys finds out he didn't pursue you.
