I don't mean that he shouldn't have this stuff, but being able to call down strike teams, drones and a kill sat at any time across Orkney? The logistics for that are a bit too much for a post-apocalyptic army.))

((I Agree. This is a post apocalyptic world. Chances are that most of the technology in the world would have been wiped off the face of the planet, and anything still working would have been salvaged for the greater good of everyone else. Plus, for some reason I don't think someone would decided Orkney would be the best place ever for all of their military tech. :P))

City Noir: The location for the vast majority of Season three. Particularly nice because it allows a closer insight to society in The City (Outside from the first two episodes in Season 1.)

Artistic License - Geography: "The City" is implied to be in the vague area of real life Kirkwall. The problem? Kirkwall is actually a small town, rather then the large ruined metropolitan city that its showed as in the show.

Deadpan Snarker: The Robot that David and Eriksson encounter when travelling through the Sewers leading into the City in Season three, Episode 2 "Backdoor".

Book Dumb: Apparently, David repeatedly flunked both Science and Math in school before the Bombs dropped. Talked about before, but it shows a lot more clearly in S3, E2. How he ended up as a Police Officer in The City before the Show's premiere is anyones guess.

Private Investigator: Implied to be Eriksson's job before Chief Magistrate Lewis hired him in Season 1, Episode 1. Makes a little sense considering his Skillset.

Badass Longcoat: Eriksson.

Leeroy Jenkins: Pretty much the entirety of Slyv's tactical planning and Execution. Good thing his Improbable Aiming Skills keep him from obtaining the fate of the others who followed the same strategy.

((I don't really mind the existence of high-tech shit, but having an effective, centralized system of using it all across a large island is too... intact, pre-apocalypse, it breaks the theme of the series. It's the Big Board example I have problems with here (not the Stranger's part, he can be as creepy as he wants). That said, we shouldn't overuse that kind of stuff either. And I really should start posting tropes again.))

Still, I like the Killsat idea. Perhaps instead of being used by the Colonel, an AI was put in charge of it but went insane after a solar flare fired it?)

Schizo Tech: Pre-apocalypse. Hover-boats were common enough that the Captain being able to find a working one is not unusual, but aircraft seems to have been limited to helicopters and zeppelins, among other things. This only gets worse as time goes on...

I'm pretty sure this doesn't count as Schizo tech. Hoverboats and Helicopters are relatively same tech, and I extremely doubt that there would be more then one commercial Zeppelin, if any at all on the Orkney Islands.

The lack of airplanes might, though. And, uh, the Orkneys aren't the only places with zeppelins.

I was thinking a hovercraft as in, the one from Half Life 2 in Water Hazard. Not an actual floaty one. So no need for schizo tech.

No, I think you should just remove it.

And on the topic of Zepplins, you would have cornered me with your last statement if it wasn't for the fact that Zepplins are still extremely rare. The reason we don't still have tons of commerial Zepplins today is because of a certain incident involving one particluar German Aircraft that did not experience one of the safest landings ever.

This show already has enough elements, its better to just get rid of the idea then to try some stupid ideas to try and justify it.
