Now we have some kind of physique at all, we should look into that Parcour thing again. Practice some basic stuff from the internet videos first, then try to find some aficionados over our Evil Team of DoomTM. Get known in the scene, but don't do anything too risky.

That is, if there IS a scene for possibly-legal foot races over improbable courses full of obstacles and property borders in your town. If there isn't... make one.

Can we go find some non-sciency people for friends?  So that way we have people to go do grunt work in the future?

Meh, you don't need grunts until you start major progects, and if you are performing a major project then you should have the resources to hire your grunts...

And we don't want to get particularly attached to any either...

speaking of villainous plans, maybe we should decide on our target for future villainy. Personally, I suggest the financial industry.
 apart from that, yea, look at the ninja class. also, buy one of these http://www.lockpickshop.com/ST-23.html to learn lock-picking.

I don't think it's dead. LordBucket is probably just researching for his next post by hiring random criminals. That's just how realistic this game is.

(Did I mention already how much I like it?)

I believe there was some debate over storing some money in a savings account. It was said that that was impractical, as the intrest is too low, compared with infaltion. I would like to point out that the money that we have right now is garnering 0% intrest, and 1% is preferable. Our money will last longer if we do place it in a savings account.

Thank you. Glad to hear it. :)

Thread is not dead. Will probably update tonight. It's just slow because there's no consensus on what to do. Since last update I count 16 posts, of which only 5 contain "what to do" suggestions, some of which are kind of vague, and none of which appear to agree with each other.

Here's the current action vote list:

 * Research election 2014
 * Keep in touch with Clara and the others
 * Do Parkour
 * Find non-science-y friends
 * Go to ninja class
 * Learn lockpicking

Nobody has given a single +1 to anyone else's suggestions. Not one. Additionally, some of the posts that outwardly appear to be suggestions kind of aren't. For example, this from racnor:

Ok. That's fine. Maybe you guys should do that. But saying that "maybe you should decide" on something isn't really an action vote. I'm not going to take a player comment like that and just run with it without some definite consensus on it.

I'd update more regularly if you guys agreed with each other more on what to do.

I responded, in the post immediately after yours:

"Interest rates on savings accounts are trivial. Using Wells Fargo as an example, even with assorted qualifications and a $25,000 minimum balance, they're only paying .3% per year. That's point 3 percent, not 3 percent. And it's also annual yield, with compound interest already calculated into it. So if you were to put your entire $43,315 balance in a savings account at that APY and not touch it for a year, you'd collect a grand total of $129.95 in interest. Which, incidentally, would be less than our current estimate 1.7% annual inflation.

It's not worth the time to do the math."

Since we have little better to discuss: Is the small interest rate of a savings account worth the lack of access to our funds?
Referring to this. No one did reply to this. Of course, I had forgotten just how little the interest was...
