you dwarfed my axeman yet?

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

19 Timber-
A caravan has arrived, along with the liason.  I delegate some of the extra clothing for trading.

12 Moonstone-
It has come to my attention that we have many trained military dwarves here who are not in the military.  So I am setting them aside in their own special squad, The Volcanoes of Judging.   I have set the one who calls himself "Dorf the Pariah" as the captain in charge.  They will be based in a guardhouse at the northwestern corner of the map.

(Not much is happening.  Wish we could have an ambush or something to help liven it up.  I have the outpost scattered around, so a small squad can get to anywhere almost instantly, with the calvary not far behind them.
Also, can I use a pick in order to remove upwards ramps?

Yes, you may use the pick to remove ramps as long as you don't dig down at all. As for the lack of fun, you could use the leftover silver (if there is any) to make crafts or toys, boosting the fort's value. This should attract goblins and large beasties.

I think you need the elf liasion to start the elf-war.

Nothing happened for the rest of my turn, really.  We are out of booze, because neither my metalsmith or the carpenters will go to work and make barrels.  A blacksmith went insane, and two kobold thieves got away because our dwarves were too small to chase.    Hopefully the next player will have more !!FUN!!

This sounds like !!FUN!!!
The third exclamation point is intentional.

Anyway, I'd like to request a dorfing and a being-added-to-the-succession-list-verb-ing.
I'm used to running a metals industry on charcoal, (I can barely remember the last time I found coal) so that shouldn't be much of a problem for me.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Sorry guys had a crazy busy bit there for a while. I guarantee an update for you tonight!

Okay, looking at this fort, it's obvious we NEED more booze. Everyone's thirsty and there are a few people unhappy about this fact. Gotta change this. First thing to do. I've designated another farm and am picking all of the shrubs inside the fort.

I've never managed 72 dwarves, and I'm doing it without therapist. Should be a great year!

Oh my god everyone's thirsty and someone died of thirst and no barrels oh my god what do I do.

Make barrels, brew everything into booze. Is a caravan coming anytime soon? Buy tons of plump helmets and straight booze off the dwarves. If it's another caravan, steal all their booze and plants.

It's spring. We just got the giant migrant wave. Everyone not mason (Using the surrounding fireclay for the masons to ease building stuff) has now got carpenter turned on and we now have booze production going.

A recruit was throwing a tantrum in his sleep. It was ineffective.

ELVES HAVE ARRIVED.

So did a seige  :o but it's only a squad of hammergoblins. Still, I lost a few good dwarves to them. like, three.

At least I dispatched the elves. Plus they had a peregrine falcon so vermin will be less of a problem. Too bad it's a male.
