Tell the officer to have 2 armed officers fall in with me and stay quiet then move off with them to check around the outside of the building, look for windows and basement access.
"Sure can do. However, my men and I will not enter that building. I'm responsible for these men, and I don't want a repeat of Dubai. We'll give you cover from the outside"The group follows Officer James down the road. Houses, seemingly mirror images of each other, flank them on either side of the road. As you approach, you can see cop cars forming a blockade on the road, with police officers using them as cover.
"I need another man to cover these agents as they take a sweep of the outside of the building. Everyone else, maintain the surround"Another police officer silently falls in, and the group sweeps the outside of the building. The group finds a window into the kitchen, and Officer James stops Moe before he climbs in.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you"He picks up a stick lying on the ground and shoves it into the window. At the point of entry in the window, the end of the stick catches fire and melts, parts of burning liquid stick dropping into the kitchen sink below.
"We think this is why our bullets can't harm the aliens. This 'shield' is on all the entrances"The group continues around with Moe Johnson at front. They find no basement entrance, but do find several windows into the kitchen and living room. Through the living room window two gray aliens are spotted. Each are wearing some kind of blue suit, not elastic but tight fitting. At their waists strange blue pistols hang loosely. The aliens gaze around lazily, note your presence, but otherwise show no move to shoot you.
The group continues and rounds off at the front of the house, with Moe Johnson in front. From above, a little girl's voice comes to life, and you see her looking at you from the window.
"Is that...the leader!? You came for me! You came for me! I knew you would! See mon-...friends!? He came! Can I go home now? Ple-" The girl takes in a sharp breath, and her voice becomes broken and monotone.
"Leader. Come....to....entrance...for talk". The girl withdraws from the window.
The aliens on the first floor open the door and stand just inside the house, staring at the group.
"That poor girl. I knew her too, she goes to the elementary school down the street. Her names Lindsey....Poor girl."
