Wireless printer not printing

HP 8600 Officejet Pro. Wireless printer. Worked before, suddenly stopped.

Tried troubleshooting; did not work.

Shows it is receiving signal from wireless device, but will not print documents from desktop computer.

Do you guys think uninstalling it and then reinstalling it would work out? Other fix.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Uninstalling and reinstalling is worth a shot.  For what it's worth, I had a printer that would do this semi randomly until I went into its network settings and restored it to factory defaults.  After that I reconnected it to the wireless and all was fine from that day forward.

Try www.reddit.com/r/techsupport. they have a much larger community and they actually have IT guys there.

Also have you tried turning it off and on again?

Na, it's cool. The thing will make copies etc, but will not print from the desktop.  Go figure. I've seen the various types of "it actually wasn't plugged in" stuff before. :) Physical problems, I'm mostly good with. The trouble with wireless is, there doesn't seem to be too terribly much to plug in.

Thanks. Transpeople tend to stay away from teh Reddit though. (The ones I talk to anyhow). Still, might be worth a shot.

Turning it on and off is like the 3rd thing I did, right after staring at it, and briefly cursing it's soul. :P

Will try, probably should find install CD first though. I know I could probably download the driver somewhere, but that would be more work than slipping a disk. Thankfully I don't have urgent things to print, but yeah.
