"Alright. Give me a 600 count-if I'm not back up by then...you know."

Kathryn covered her mouth with a rag, dampened by her waterskin, and crouch walked into the tunnel...

Action: Explore inside the Sulfer-y tunnel for about 10 minutes. Head back if I find a long branch, or the gasses seem to be too much. If I encounter something interesting, await further actions. :P

Pause, see if I can convince the mage to follow Kathryn down the tunnel. If not, softly curse and hurry after her.

Still getting the hang of what I can and can not do, so if this is stupid please forgive me Willfor. Can I temporally enhance her cloth for better filtration?

There aren't really any stupid questions.

Actually, you should be able to give her thirty minutes of good filtration, but it will take you five minutes to prepare it. If she wants to wait that long, then you can do that.

"If you could give me about five minutes. I could protect you better from the stench then that rag can alone. I think we have time after all, nothing seems to be worth hurrying."

If she agrees I will enchant her rag for filtration, then make two more filtration rags well she is in there.

"I can wait." Kathryn said, leaning against the cave wall. She was interested to see his magic first hand.

The five minutes pass, and Kathryn is then able to go into the cave.

The filtration not only keeps bad air from being a problem, it enhances the perception of individual odors. [8 + 5] -> As you're going inside you can make out that there are layers behind the scent. Two minutes in there is an older sulfur smell, a newer sulfur smell, and an old scent of garbage left open too long.

You reach the end of the natural cave, and there are two makeshift curtains blocking passages going left and right at the end. One curtain has a yellow circle painted on it, and the other has a red circle painted on it. You're three minutes from getting back to your group.

Five hours and thirty-two minutes of good daylight left.

Spoiler: TIGERS (click to show/hide)

Worldbuilding note: While I have some time here to type it out, here's how the filtration rags are going to go. They are essentially functionally solely on the magic Goran put into them, with little ability to pull from the materials that have been used on them. They are feeding on the history of the cloth used to construct them. So long as they are not "in use" they will preserve fairly well, but after they start being used they will pull magic until they're exhausted. The rag will quickly come apart to rotten strands after it's used up.

There's a good reason people don't use living parts of themselves as magic items. Or, rather, sane people don't...

Kathryn is indeed curious, much like a cat-but is not so keen on following this cliche to it's logical end. Just a peek, maybe.

She almost felt like a Copperhead again, sneaking in here.

Action: Look behind both curtains (red than yellow)-try to be quiet and sneaky and skullduggery, in case anyone is on the other end.

OOC: Also in the interest of stripping every tiny bit of wealth I can find, what fabric are the curtains made out of? Do they seem crude or well made? How big are they?

(The curtains are made of some kind of burlap, and are pretty wide. Maybe useful for material to do other things with, but with the scent that's soaked them you'll never be able to sell them. The captain will probably object to them even being on his boat when you leave.)

Red curtain leads into a long carved corridor that you can't see the end of. Yellow leads into an empty carved room with burlap mats on the floor, broken pieces of wood, and a door on the far side.

Action: Backtrack and inform the group of my findings...

((assuming no complications...))

She emerged from the cave, giving a thumbs up. Her count has been somewhere around 375.

"...Yeah, that was interesting.

I saw two curtains cover two passages-left and right, one side with a red symbol and and one yellow. Rooms, doors, carved passages, lots of garbage. Somethings living in there."

Goran layered another another strand of power into the cloth he was working on and then looked up from his sitting place on the ground.

"Well. Do you think it is worth it? I personally would rather avoid any confrontations with the natives as of yet, but if you guys think it is unavoidable I suppose it would be best to get it over with."

"Could be interesting, yeah. I'm all for exploring." Kat says, leaning against the stone wall.
