You'll all dropped off the ship at the beach below the White Cliffs. They're not exactly vertical, often times leaning forward and backward. There are paths, but you should be able to make out where some paths just stop. There are also plenty of places where there are caves. There are also some streams coming down the cliffs. Some of them are coming out of the caves, but some of them look like they're coming from small waterfalls at the top. Four thousand feet straight up is ... well, it looks like quite a climb.

You've all gotten your full kit. Picking any direction will take you to something. Just starting up the cliffs will take you somewhere. Just remember, this place is inhabited, despite how desolate the beach looks.

It's June 5th, and about six hours until sunset.

"I'd say we not camp where we can be seen so easily. You don't see them, but theirs Kobolds are all around here-they know people want to find the city, and they're ready for us. If they don't infest the city, then there's probably worse things keeping them away.

I suggest we find a small cave safe from the weather, easily defensible in case of attack, with a water source nearby.

Some rebels who remain in the Northern frontiers once attacked my village, saying they had"betrayed their people's culture" I was 12, and was forced to kill a single raider. The kobolds, I hear though, are weak enough alone, but in numbers they can be dangerous. Lets get moving men!

You make it up about thirty feet up a path before you find something that catches your attention. It's a cave entrance, but about 2 feet inside there is a sheer drop. You can't see the bottom of the drop, and it's fifteen feet across before there is solid ground again. There is a wooden rail on the ceiling of the cave that can be climbed across to take you to the other side.

The path you are on will keep going up, or you can go inside.

"I wouldn't risk climbing across-that rail, who else built it? Kobolds, I'd guess. And I doubt they would be so kind to make it able to easily hold a Humans weight. I've heard they use traps that spring when anyone bigger than themselves try to pass...

That said, if we want to risk sending one of the lighter, faster members of our party over, we could anchor a line to both sides and shimmy across one by one. See whats down there."
