I'll go ahead and start making the Kobold-Slot-List (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtJOP_0re0PEdEhpaXMxczdSTzdLWmN1VUNTdDh6Rnc) now even though it's probably early to.  Any specific requests in terms of location?  I'm feeling somewhat daring.  Unfortunately Evil places don't work well because there isn't generally any meat to eat.

Savanna. Or maybe just a forest or jungle.

Do Tundras have enough meat?

Because I think snow would make a nice change of scenery.

Not a whole lot sadly. Plus what meat there is will probably kill most kobolds first, except for hunters and early camps can't really keep them supplied with ammo, but a clever combination of the two, with hunters knocking out the elk and such with warriors to kill it could work.

there's also the option of a cold forest (but not a tundra. That leaves farming open for drinks.)

There's also the option of settling in the shadow of a cave, and if there are other bolds, inter tribal raid!

Yeah I'm just blowing smoke out of my ass. Glad to see you alive though cap'n.

I'm feeling somewhat bored with what I've been doing (Hot or Temperate forests generally).  Something cold could be very fun.  Drinks become a problem with cold, but that could just make things interesting.  I'd say that if we go for snow and cold we MAY need to activate underground crops for 'bolds, just because I don't think above ground crops work in cold climates.

I'm kind of tempted by the tundra idea...  Sure, it'll be dangerous, but that's kind of the point!  Maybe start with a good initial store, get some kobold hunters early... Ammo can honestly be wood without too much trouble...

Inter Tribal Raids also sound pretty freaking awesome, but I don't know exactly how to try to set something like that up.

Very glad to be back and glad to hear from you folks too.  Things have been crazier than I can possibly express and now things are returning to normalcy at least a little bit, so I'm looking to engage in old hobbies.

So long as it isn't freezing you're good to go on crops.
Inter tribal raids: Settle on cave. if other bolds there that shouldn't be there, test kill one. No cascade, kill'em all.

Alright, I'm liking how this is shaping up.  Cave, cold place of some kind, and kobolds in Masterwork is my current plan.

So three questions remain:
1) Any modding I should do besides my normal change of ethics?
2) What are opinions/things about scarier biomes I should be aware of?  Sounds like Freezing is something to avoid if we want our kobolds to ever drink anything.  Cold Forest may be the way to go.
3) What do we name this place?

I just hope we don't get Thrall Clouds...

A Taiga biome sounds like it could be a good middle ground.  Sounds like there is both wood and animals to hunt, we can do our farming underground (shoveling!  Woo!), and there's the challenge of drinks/scary beasties.  High savagery I think is always a fun addition, just because it makes things a little more scary without removing the ability to get food (as making things Evil does, I believe).

Thrall Clouds sound absolutely terrifying.  Luckily, if I'm reading the wiki right, they mostly just occur in Evil areas (which kobolds who eat only meat pretty much can't use!) so that shouldn't be a problem.  Hopefully.  Undead are scary.

We were holed up in the food cave hiding from a necromancer last time right?

Yeah, that was horrifying.  That, I believe, was partially a glitch related to line of sight.  Because that pretty much came down to an issue of him being able to see into the caverns despite (theoretically) being above ground.

Can Kobolds become vampires?

I believe so.  I've found LOTS of kobolds turned into werebeasts and several kobolds turned into necromancers.  I've never found a kobold vampire, but I don't see any reason why not.

Well, I'm still going to be Kalras, the semi-evil kobold possessing other kobolds, and using their souls for Dark Majicks.
