The role play aspect comes in once the game actually starts.
A lot of the bigger role play games began this way it takes time to get everything together.

It just doesn't seem like a roleplay. It seems more like a civ sim. As in- there is no fourth wall.

It's the same style of game as HOTRS or YAK just a bit more complicated. Plenty of Roleplay once it begins.

I might have to back out of this RP, I just got accepted into a volunteering program that will take me to Prince Edward Island, Canada for three months, and then somewhere in Indonesia for another 3. I don't know how busy this program will keep me, but I do know that I'll be in it in around 10 days, so I doubt I can participate in this rp anymore

And it was fairly simple to point out that this game is largely similar to two others that are going on and they both include a huge amount of role play.
Sorry didn't know that only Wyrms opinion counts I'll stop bothering to say anything.

Alright, let's see...none of the old rules got a majority. Mining came closest, getting 5/10.

So, let's divide everyone still interested into some committees. I'll set up three general ones: the Industries Committee, focusing on work, the Relations Committee, focusing on various interactions between fiefs and NPC groups and such*, and the Domestic Committee, focusing on miscellaneous stuff, especially how each fief works.
You can apply for two, or three if you must. Please discuss as often as you can and let us in the main thread know what's been decided at least once every couple days, even if it's "nothing."


And what are the other games like this? I might be interested in one.

They are less complicated then this but pretty similar.

No need to rebuild them all anyway some of them are fine as they are.
But the committees are more or less a way to adjust rules for systems to make them more fitting anyway.

I have a rough system for smithing weapons and armor with metals as well as a list of all the kinds of weapons and armor.

I'll post them shortly I just need to make some minor adjustments.
